QUOTE(BoomChaCha @ Jul 5 2018, 07:14 PM) I went to May Bank and I got this FD promo info, all interest paid on maturity, all for OTC, not eFD (1) 5 months: 4%, min RM 5K (2) 8 months: 4.13% (Tier 1), 4.08%(Tier2), min RM 10K (3) 10 months: 4.1%, min RM 10K You were supposed to use Rentas so your money will available in your HLB or Maybank account immediately or in few hours. Digital day e-fd is so much better. Why wanna waste time with Maybank ? So far , for online fd placements, via m2u, I’ve been able to place 6 digits.

QUOTE(skty @ Jul 5 2018, 11:14 PM) i thought the T&C says that one person can only place one time FD at 4.37% rate? One Eligible Customer is only entitled to make ONE eFD / eFD-i placement for the purpose of this Promotioni have the experience before with Hong Leong bank that I place many time FD at promo rate but later the system auto change back to usual rate. pls check the FD few days later to see whether still got promo rate for all Yup I did think of that that’s why I will put in the rest of my funds on Saturday. Not an issue if yesterday’s rate is re-adjusted.

QUOTE(WLFung @ Jul 20 2018, 12:57 PM) Is there anyway to transfer more than 100k from Bank A to Bank B instantly and save cost? Banker's cheque taking 2 bussiness days to clear which I think not in efficiency way. IBFT came to daily transaction limit, unable transfer over the limit. Just asking is there any better way to transfer larger fund? RENTAS. No issues even with 7 digits.

I did mention I want to transfer to another bank if I don't get a favorable rate. So they said they have for 6 months at 4.5%. That's it.
