They give the FD  cert on the day and no need to wait for cheque clearance. I think you need to have savings account if you want monthly interest.

my mbsb fd 5.5% matured around near this month end. Heard certain branch close due to MCO.

Just on phone. I told them FD matured today, they give me 3.50% immediately.
But you need to write a simple email to instruct them to renew your FD.
Then later they will send the scanned new FD cert to you via email, very convenient.

Alliance is giving 3.15% for 3-month e-FD, have to get the promo code in secure message, before placement.

secured message is at top right corner after login. you need to be its mobile APP user. so, make sure you register for its mobile APP first.

erm not too sure if later after 6m or 12m they didnt want to give the extra 1%? i didnt read the term and condition when placing the fd.

In MBSB today to renew the matured FD. Was told 12 mth 3% but interest at maturity. Then 13 mth 3% with monthly interest. Took up the 13 mth one.

The previous FD with eff rate of 4.25% with CASA logged was not released automatically. They have to do it in their system manually. Did not see the release online until I went to MBSB. Have to ask them as renewed FD include the matured interest from the SA.

Asked about how long is the promo. Told until 6/7. I guess everyone waiting for BNM announcement next week on OPR.

Today was smooth. Unlike Tuesday, today got everything done within 23 minutes.
