For offroad use choose the Hilux. For normal driving choose the navara. I have a contractor driving a ford, he told me regret buying, limited service centre, the car started developing issues after 2 years of normal driving

Pick up, of cos ranger, my family has one
But there are other vehicles that can handle lanjiao malaysia road while being comfortable, cheap one such as subaru forester, expensive one such as land cruiser or lexus lx570
Going for the pick up is an extreme road, you will be slow at highway, you cant speed around corners, you are stuck with uncomfortable suspension, noisy engine etc etc
Doesnt matter how people tell u the navara is comfortable or the ranger handling is good, those are compared among pick ups only, compare to an suv, no chance
