U are staying in high rise? If yes, it is subjected to the technical availability, especially if he apartment etc is using copper wire for user end's connectivity. there are few who are on rm149 currently, who gets upgraded to VIP10 from VIP5, when they checked the surprise, it only says check back on 25 January 2017. so unlikely there is free upgrade again else it should have shown it straightway so at most I guess it is freebies only.
For your case, when u agreed to add rm10 for 30Mbps which u gets it now. technically u have nothing lost currently, since u get what u already paid for.
If given rm159 price and again u get 50Mbps even it is not meant to be, it will be bonus.
