Guys can I ask about this "do not honor", I never had this problem with Maybank card, only recently with public bank card. my first purchase today was rm9 succeeded. However second purchase was rm18 it says do not honor. Then I tried to purchase rm3 later, also "do no honor".

Just called the bank, was told due to over usage of the limit of rm250. Need to reset the it by using the physical card with pin😅

Every 5th with same command 10xp awarded + 1xp when you respond "great"

I would like to ask if anyone here managed to successfully complete any transaction above RM 250 using Samsung Pay. I read some where that for an amount of more than RM 250, would require you to key in your pin or is RM 250 the absolute limit?

I tried a couple of times trying to pay for transactions above RM 250 and got the error message "Do Not Honor". Hope someone can clarify. Thank you.

But I think Maybank's limit can be changed, as I clearly have a transaction that exceeds RM 250.

Seems a bit strange for them to be asking such details.

For your information, each bank has different amount of limitation per transaction. Kindly refer to the statement below :
Maybank : RM 250 per day
Citibank : RM 1500 (RM 750 for NFC & RM 750 for MST)
Hong Leong Bank : RM 250
Standard Chartered : RM 1250 or 5 transaction per day whichever comes first
CIMB : RM 1000 per day
RHB : RM 1000 or 30 transactions (cumulative for both MST & NFC) whichever comes first.
(Limit would reset for  RHB card once payment is made using the physical card with PIN verification.)
