QUOTE(singgung @ Jan 3 2018, 05:28 PM) Lol yea. I tried last weekend & I can't complete my transaction. It asked me to contact cashier / staff. Luckily he didn't stare or gave unpleasant look. Just tapped his card, asked me to leave merchant's copy of receipt and it was done. But still quite troublesome. Might as well go to counters with cashiers. Is it only for paywave? How about if we insert the card into terminal? Still the same? Swipe no problem because the recorded instruction asked for PIN based card input. Only Wave got problem.

QUOTE(tky1993 @ Jan 3 2018, 06:27 PM) Went to tesco ioi yesterday... everything went so smoothly. This is actually my 1st time using it. There's a worker standby there, just pass the merchant copy to them. Actually you need to put merchant copy into the dedicated slot yourself. And reprint the customer copy by pressing the 1 or F1 button. Due to Wave input got problem of integration into the Tesco cashier software, it's not able to capture the Wave transaction. You need the staff to manually press several keys to enable printing of the receipt/tax invoice. This problem you won't encounter if you use cash or PIN input.

QUOTE(aquilaTE @ Jan 4 2018, 11:59 AM) Seems like one of my transaction although it's recorded but no points given. Used the SPay last Monday @ McD, Citta Mall. My 1st and & 3rd transaction were awarded points but not the 2nd. And I made sure it's way more than the 5mins interval (almost 20mins from the looks of it). So... what is the way to contact them? Would prefer to send a msg to them. QUOTE Email to my.samsungpay@samsung.com with details below. They will reimburse the reward point to you.
(1) Credit Card receipt / Sales Draft (the receipt that printed out from the credit card machine);
(2) The screenshot of the current level of your reward; and
(3) The screenshot of the full page of the payment card history (showing your card details & the particular transaction)

No problem when I tried at Giant Kampar. I told the cashier that I want to use Wave, the cashier just said no concern. I did like I usually do at Tesco.
The problem I faced when I tried to use Wave on SPay at Giant Bayan Baru food court. My guess is that that particular terminal is not properly configured. I ended up pay using Wave with my UOB CC.

QUOTE(tky1993 @ Jan 5 2018, 10:12 PM) Supposedly tgv can get b1f1 using citibank clear card but they required physical card to get the promo. Ended up paying for actual price. So stupid leh. Can just show them the card from the phone? I did that at Coffee Bean. They're OK with this method. This post has been edited by David83: Jan 5 2018, 11:55 PM

QUOTE(hjhanzi @ Jan 7 2018, 07:53 PM) Hi guys, do you know how can we complain to bank negara regarding minimum amount to use paywave? Caltex near e-gate penang island only allow me to use paywave for rm 20 and above. I dealed with the payment counter, not at the pump terminal. When i mentioned to the cashier that it is an offense, the cashier said he knows but still need rm20 and above. Really raised my anger to max this time. Other Caltex stations do not have this issue at all. Or is it fine just to complain to caltex HQ CS? There's a lot of stores in Penang that needs min amount. If you want to file complaints to BNM, I believe the list is long. For your case, you can feedback to Caltex CS/HQ first as you're seeing different policy between branches.

QUOTE(donhue @ Jan 8 2018, 08:56 PM) Encountered my first ever location that specifically declined spay at Padini Queensbay Mall. They accepted wave, but said must be physical card, and spay not accepted. They said they used to accept, but not sure why it's discontinued. And it's not because they need to re-enter the card number into their POS system.Contacted spay customer support, but they also didn't offer much info. Merely said "depends on merchant's acceptability". How you know? They told you?

QUOTE(donhue @ Jan 8 2018, 09:29 PM) Well, I eventually used Paywave, and they returned my card immediately. Even if there was something they needed to enter something for their POS, it would be something they could get from the merchant's slip. I think one thing we need to understand from here is that: We all know that when we use SPay, the 4-digit card number is totally different from our physical card number. But if we use our physical card and pay using Wave instead of PIN, is the card number same as the physical card number? If same, well it explains everything. QUOTE(Theoutspokenguy @ Jan 9 2018, 08:16 PM) It's normal. Even MCD she position the machine slot in card but I use my phone tap on top. She was surprised. She asked me is this from bank or phone. I told her when you have time Google Samsung pay. So far all the McD I went to at Penang are fine. They're aware and well-educated of Wave. McD is promoting Mastercard Wave above RM 25 for 4 pcs of nuggets at FOC. Not sure if the promo still around after New Year. This post has been edited by David83: Jan 9 2018, 08:19 PM

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Jan 10 2018, 03:59 PM) i totally mistaken how the points are collected, they are not like before 1 ringgit to 1 point, its 1 freaking transaction to 10 point, so no point in using it cause points hard to get Normal level: 10 points Silver level: 20 points Gold level: 40 points Amount is not important Max transaction count capped at 50 per month.

QUOTE(dr2k3 @ Jan 10 2018, 08:32 PM) lol funny....it's not their money, don't know why they have those weird attitude to begin with. Merchant fee Their boss doesn't want to absorb. That's why min amount; cash preferable; no approved method (SPay/Maybank Pay/CIMB Pay). This post has been edited by David83: Jan 10 2018, 08:35 PM
