I just finished watching this. I was riveted from beginning to end, although we all know how it ends. Heart-wrenching and brilliant.

You see muslim terrorists praying while hijacking a plane in the film. No way will it be aired here. Just get the dvd.

This movie quite sometime already. If not mistaken is last year summer movie. At first i saw it will be showing in GSC. Then postponed then no more sign of this movie already.

It is a nice movie. This movie style is like a documentary type. Like it a lot. Tear automatically drop before the plane crash.

How does this compare with World Trade Center (which was really teruk)?

Just another US political agenda. A bit like Black Hawk Down. It only shows the good side of America. How "innocent" they are.

But if you put that aside, it's quite a good movie. Not brilliant, but better than WTC in my opinion.

How does it show the americans are good? The movie only unexploitedly (is this a word? ) explores what happened during the 2 hours of the doomed plane - from take-off to it's demise. It also shows how vulnerable, chaotic, and inefficient the air traffic staff and controllers and the military become as they were totally surprised to know that a hijacking has happened.

BTW the director is Paul Greengrass, a British.

Em, this movie doesnt take sides at all. Neither does it make any political statement. Its just recreated events as it happened.

Wow, this movie came out last year and now only got thread But yea, this movie is very nice. Lotz of suspence and its very dramatic. WTC can't be compared with this piece of brilliance.

What I like bout this movie is that everything looks so real as though you're one of the Americans on 911. Nothing detailed bout the Pentagon and WTC crashes, all we know is they crashed. The directing was very focused in the United 93 plane and it really showed me the courage that those people had.

this movie is really offending. the only good thing about it was the continuous 'tension' it created esp during the last minutes. a good b-movie for the summer. at least its wayy better than preachy-emo-shit WTC.

is this one involved alot of towers conversation? If yes, it is pretty boring imo. The dialog is very tense somehow the motion picture doesn't seems so aggressive. haha

Another got alot of action on the plane. I prefer dat one. It's so sad to see them 1 by 1 calling back home. And the families members couldn't do anything. All we can do is crying for miracle.

One thing i think terrorist is smart bout shaving off the hair before tie up the C4.

hahaha old movie la but i say more dark than WTC n thks 2 this event bush n amerika got their ass saved or else amerika is gonna bcum normandy/pearl harbor

i can safely say any movie which lacks longevity is a b-movie. how can this movie not offending? its explicitly provoking and sullied the dignity of all arabs. you should be offended by this movie coz ure an asian

It's not my or the filmmakers fault that the terrorists were arabs. There's even hard proof from the plane's blackbox that the terrorists were praying before the plane plummeted. No one is blaming arabs in general. No one is blaming Islam.

yea, so i assume you take it that any movie villian's ethnicity is an insult to their race? lets see, we have the quintessential commie emotionless Russian, the worker bee Jap, the nerdy asian kid in college, the stuffy Brit, the American Nam soldiers who commit atrocities, the French with their exaggerated accents, the Italian who is always connected to the mob.....

prefer Air Force One

Completely different movies. One is an action movie the other is a gut-wrenching retelling of what happened on september 11th. Though Air Force One is by no means a bad movie, it's still enjoyable. But you really cannot compare them both.

dont worry, im not comparing the both. anyway, United 93 is kinda boring to me. too many dialogues and scenes on control tower.

anyway, there is another flick called FLIGHT 93....anyone?
