Any recommendation for a commission builder, someone to help assemble, build and paint a PG RX78-2?
Thanks. |

QUOTE(GrandElf @ Jul 10 2019, 01:41 PM) basically, yes. but godhand has some limitation, cannot cut thick runner otherwise you risk ruin the cutter since the blade is very thin. Normally recommended that u use your current nipper to cut til few mm left, then trim with godhand. I am using Wave cutter, also very similar, 90% of the time no need to make additional processing to nubmark. If i feel picky i'll use very high grit filer to file the surface so that it looks very smooth without cutter streaks when u look closely |

Trim later with the hobby knife and use sandpaper(the sponge type is way better than sandpaper actually)If you still dont bother with this but hate nub marks so much then better dont buy gunpla at all.. Forget the God Hand since you need to use knife to trim later on. Unless you like Nippako-chan the cute anthropomorphize girl based on God Hand and want to support her. QUOTE(adix4 @ Jul 24 2019, 02:30 PM) Just started gunpla and wanted to ask a few question I been buying gunpla from few countries (Japan, China Taobao, Hong Kong, MY) previously and generally I won't recommend buying normal release gunpla and have it ship to here, it just doesn't worth at all overall time, effort and money. Unless it is P-bandai or rare stuff but most online seller here do pre-order on new release those if you put effort search them. 1) buying from Malaysia or direct from Japan, which one is cheaper? Can see that shopee is selling quite cheap but unsure in Japan how much 2) any shops online that you can suggest? Malaysia or Japan that is cheap lol Our local gunpla price are ok consider some shipping, tax, storage, operation cost etc so definitely price will be sightly higher but it is mostly fair price. |

As what C.W.S. said, it probably better to buy the regular releases locally (but not from the departmental stores, those places have the prices horribly jacked up)
Places I would recommend to buy locally: https://www.facebook.com/gamersarena.com.my/ https://www.facebook.com/cktanplamodelshop/ https://www.gundam.my/ For tools/paint I usually get from here: https://www.facebook.com/infinitecreationworkshop |

Buying from Japan is much more expensive unless you fly to Japan yourself. It's the transportation costs that might kill you despite the cheaper base cost.
If you're from West Malaysia, the shopee sellers often gives free shipping or highly discounted shipping costs so it's relatively acceptable. But if you're in Sabah or Sarawak, transportation costs from the West can often be very expensive too (I have seen rm40++ for shipping) and sometimes you can get better prices off Taobao. |
