not wonder its so expensive here, if local in Malaysia by poslaju?
Hi I'm a newbie from Sabah as well. Currently facing difficulty finding a matte top coat. Most shopee shop decline to ship to sabah because spray can is dangerous (flammable)
Yea I check with this and another shop called Hobby Garage 3 week ago. Both sold out on matte spray. Ask them when restock, the only say "need check first"and then no more reply lol.
Better use modeler's knife to cut straight without sanding. i feel sanding is waste time and surface no longer shine. Try practise ur cutting skill, can on stroke cut off those nipper point and left smooth and shine finish.
I tried cutting today, Im so bad at it I almost heavily deform a chest piece lol managed to fix it by sanding. I've figured out how to sand them to remove the white dot. But the scratch and dullness cant be avoid. Use some nail polish block to bring back the shine.
Use zippo lighter fluid, for ratio you need trial and error.
If you're still not confident about mixture ratio (honestly, mistakes are the most effective way to learn), try Valejo air paint, it's already prethinned and ready for airbrushing.
can zippo fluid wipe off acrylic paint if the result isnt good? Then repaint again, like reseting.
I bought a can of mr.hobby topcoat, but our country condition just doesnt permit it. With humidity over 70% all year long and constantly raining. Do u guys just go with it and hope frostng dont happen or wait for drought? If i spray then quickly use hairdryer to dry it will it reduce risk of frosting?
basically, yes. but godhand has some limitation, cannot cut thick runner otherwise you risk ruin the cutter since the blade is very thin. Normally recommended that u use your current nipper to cut til few mm left, then trim with godhand. I am using Wave cutter, also very similar, 90% of the time no need to make additional processing to nubmark. If i feel picky i'll use very high grit filer to file the surface so that it looks very smooth without cutter streaks when u look closely
saw this in a blog, cut use godhand. Mark still visible. Is there a technique using godhand to completely make no mark at all?
