QUOTE(prophetjul @ Apr 11 2017, 06:47 PM) Yeah prophet,.. your NRZ divvy will be paid out in April 28th., Friday,.. 48.00 US Cts per share. If there is a withholding tax imposed, you will receive only 33.60 US Cts per share. Otherwise, you will receive the FULL 48.00 US Cts per share. Let's observe together,.... Added : Actually NRZ is a US REIT, into resudential properties, hence, different in investment objectives from Manulife US REIT. The price has been onan appreciating trend for the last 5 tp 6 year, and the divvy payout has been growing from 45 US Cts to 48 US Cts this round ! Judging from all these quick-look data, I noticed this ctr is very attractive. Great work, prophet,... Divvy payout is quarterly, and the current annualized dpu = 1.92 US Cts. Against the last done price of USD17.28, the yield works out to be 11.12%. If there is going to be a WHT imposed, we will still be able to catch a yield of 7.784%. Earning 7.784% is always better than earning USD Term Deposit rates,... https://www.dividendchannel.com/history/?symbol=NRZ http://www.dividend.com/dividend-stocks/fi...t-history-chart This post has been edited by Hansel: Apr 13 2017, 09:20 PM |

QUOTE(prince_mk @ Apr 13 2017, 09:24 PM) For NRZ, yes,... however, if we can claim back the deividend after-tax from Aussie counters, the yield will still be better than NRZ's yield if WHT is imposed ! Let's see,... it's a good analysis, though,.... now we know where to find the best, safest possible yield,...Other ctrs proposed by bro prophet, yields at current last done prices and divvy payouts respectively :- 1) AGNC : 10.76%, paid monthly (this is good, getting our funds faster), but EPS < DPS, dangerous, unless your UMS,... https://www.dividendchannel.com/history/?symbol=AGNC 2) ARI : 9.80%, paid qtrly, EPS > DPS, okay,... https://www.dividendchannel.com/history/?sy...l=ARI&confirm=1 3) ANH : 10.74%, paid qtrly, EPS << DPS, highly risky,.... https://www.dividendchannel.com/history/?sy...l=ARI&confirm=1 |

I thought so too when I looked closer at the section : Dividend History in that Dividend Channel webpage. And the parameter for Div/Shr is WRONG. Shld not be 0.20 only,... shld be 0.60 x 4 = 2.40, your figure,... hmm,... wondering why is the site like that,...http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/ecc/dividend-history |

For me it's a dividend share, consistent dividend payout Net dividend is ard 4.3% only => wrongly calculated. should be 7.65%. I m still looking ard TLS and planning to top up BOQ. Howdy,
I have been trading the ASX for a while and been doing pretty well on the small cap market. That is the stocks usually trading under $1. I now live in Malaysia and have several friends who want to trade ASX as well. How can they do this? I opened my account in Australia some years ago and it works for me. I don't use a broker. I just go straight to a trading platform like NAB or etrade and make my own trades. Payment is deducted my from account. However, as I said...is there any way a Malaysian can trade directly on the ASX (shares only) without going through a broker or a bank in SG. My requirements are: Must be able to purchase any smaller stock on the ASX in any sector. Must allow direct trading without someone doing on our behalf Must allow easy account set up Not interested in Reits or CFDs...only stocks directly. Would appreciate any advice from Malaysians who are already accessing the ASX. chaos-amok |
