I'm currently watching the following ctrs closely,... their mandate is to benefit in a rising interest rate environment :-

1) GCI

2) PL8

And to provide a steady and growing MONTHLY dividend payout to shareholders.

I have use for the Aussie Dollar. Hence, my motivation for wanting to earn the AUD.

GCI invests into senior-rated loans of residential mortgages. And PL8 invests into dividend ctrs in the ASX. Both pay monthly, and PL8 is the only monthly payer that gives out something called franking credits.

Emm,... yes bro,... we can do tax-planning on this matter.

Biggest returns today come from commodities. unsure.gif

But don't know how long it will last,... just don't get trapped 'holding the baby' when the tide turns.

I think sis wants to talk to me,... biggrin.gif

I took profit on GCI at $2.02 on June 1st., 2022. In spite of them always saying.... their targetted return is 3.50% against the benchmerk lending rate, I chose not to believe this. Hence, taken profit and moved on to protect my capital. I too saw articles mentioning mortgage-takers will not be able 'tahan' if the rate rises till 2%. Many will default.

Bro prophet,... sis Elea has AUD in hand,.. wanna convert back will incur forex losses. Hence, better to re-invest,...
