rich people dont show that they're rich.
whereas poor people or people that aren't as rich try their best to look rich but can barely afford it

if thats the issue i would say no.

thats merely personal preference and alot of rich people would tend show that they are from different class.

From my observations, those who will have many wants are less happy than those with many needs.

You can tell that a person is wealthy when the person dressed very simple but neat with no visible labels. Only a poor person will show off their designer labels.

A wealthy person spends more on food than on electronics and fashion. Only a poor person would spend their food money on the latest gadgets and handbags.

There are tell tale signs when a person is financially secured - he/she still travels abroad even when the ringgit is tanking, he/she's wallet is stuff full of 100 ringgit notes and only pays with cash all the time.

Other telltale signs include a mid tier car but with an expensive old number plate (single or double digit) which shows that the person is from an old rich family.

Does not like to show off. Very low profile about his life or where he lives. Also will try to not show off his watch and downplays it when friends notice his expensive watch.

Poor people would buy a car on 7-10 year loan and would usually buy entry level cars from Mercedes, BMW. A-class and 1-series are cars of choice for posers.

Poor people also wear designer labels on the outside and make sure people notice their fake watch or entry level watch. Rich people will go for the mid tier pricing for any luxury watch brands they buy into. The expensive upper tier of a luxury brand is reserved for posers whom saved up for a decade or more to afford it but after that, cannot afford to service the watch as it costs 4-5 digits to repair it every 3-5 years.

Poor people drink at bars and clubs where overpriced drinks are being sold. Rich people drink at home in their mini bar away from the noise and bar plebeians.

Anything else that I missed out? Looking at my list, I think I am more poor than rich.

i think that, people are people.
you cant categorise them especially when youre talking about wealth.
lets say that we're talking about >RM1mil annual combined salary wealth.
im pretty sure we can all agree that that is pretty wealthy by Malaysia's standard.
now, i have seen millionaires, tens millionaires and even hundreds millionaires be extravagant with their spending, not extravagant at all and everything in the middle.
at the end of the day, it depends.
one thing that i have noticed is that if the person in question is from a poor background, they would not be inclined to buy into the whole 'luxury lifestyle'.
they would buy a decent japanese or german mid tier car and wear sub-par designer and below clothes.
they dont neccesarily care to be honest because its not really how they were raised.
now, if the person in question is a son of a millionaire or is a younger fellow, then they would be very very inclined to buy into the whole luxury lifestyle.
im talking nothing lower than hermes. LV and Gucci is pretty mid-tier tbh.
Rolexes, Pateks, AUDEMARS, Richard Mille in all different types of precious metals.
Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, everything la.

so again, it depends.
but i would gravitate towards the person who seems more down to earth

hmmmm alright then.
maybe i live in a different area or meet different people so thats why our opinions are different.
but that's okay!
i dont really focus too much about other people because it doesnt matter to me.
im trying to focus on myself so that i can be one of those people that /k will one day talk about

Rich ppl enjoy luxury.

Poor ppl show off luxury

Thats how i see it.

As for spending habits and brands of choice and what products they use...i think thats up to indovidual la...cannot really tell from that. Both side of the divide mix and share their choices. For example, atas phones like iphones and samsumg kaboom...rich and poor also will buy

You do realize that those people posting on richkidsofinstagram are not that rich. 90% of the pictures consist of them posing next to a vehicle that may or may not be theirs.

Dan Bilzerian is a conman, equivalent of our MLM counterparts in Malaysia. He is selling a lifestyle and is not that rich in real life.

There are ways to temporary lease a luxury or sports car just long enough for them to take a picture of them in the car. Most of the time, these cars are rental cars. There are companies out there which would rent a Ferrari to you on a daily basis.

Show-offs usually spend their money to impress other people.

The wealthy are easier to spot. They will have more than 2 kids and the kids are well fed with organic food or good quality food. Again, the rich tend to spend money on buying high quality food to be cooked at home than to spend that money on branded clothing or shoes.

Wealthy people tend to eat at home more as they are very particular about what goes into their food. Food served in restaurants and other food places tend to have questionable food preservatives, high fat, high sugar content or have way too much flavor enhancers.

Go ask around. You will be surprised by what you can borrow or lease in KL. There are also private car rental websites where owners will rent out their cars to offset the bank loan repayments.

dan bilzerian isnt a conman his father is . dan he is just a rich poser trying to act as if he made those wealth himself

just like some wealthy kids that inherit wealth from their parents and pretends like they make their own fortune but in reality he is just a trust fund kid that are squadering his dad dirty money from wallstreet. contrary to many small brain plebs no he did not make money through poker period.

last time he had a fued with another poser , always post rented exotic cars, posing infront someone else mansion, motivational quotes, lmao and claims he own several companies bla bla when he post picture of him 'working' there was a laptop on a table in a hotel room with empty notepad program lol. cant remember his ig n name.. his gf at that time was a famous ig hoe but heard they broke up after truth about the bf was revealed. dude's parent own the biggest taxi company in one of the us big city n the guy he was an 'entrepreneur'
