touching the gear stick? maybe i am of small stature but so far my driving position has been very comfortable.

Mine is a faint rattling sound near the coin compartment. I tot it was the coins but the sound is behind it.

Mine only touches the gear stick if I rest/lean my leg to the left.

You can use the label on the door as your tyre pressure guide. I generally prefer to put 250kpa for lower rolling resistance and firmer tyres.

You shudn't worry the white paint turning yellow since paint these days are unlike from years ago. For paint maintenance, just make sure you wash and wax regularly.

Nope unless your pocket is deep and don't like the hassle to wax your car time to time. Btw, my BR-V has been grazed by a taxi and a nicked by my mountain bike's pedal so far... the glass coat won't protect your paint this way. On the other hand, I planned to buy touch up paint coz white is easy to work on though not perfect.

I've gotten the Honda's sunshade and so far no chemical odour.

So far my battery is holding well... my standard practice is to manual switch it off when I start or turn of the car (coz at times the lights will still be on).

No issues on neither the brakes nor the air con. Did my 20k service already about 2-3 weeks ago...
