I used black gloss (1:1 alcohol:paint) and only airbrushed the edges i want to darken. I didnt airbrushed the whole thing black. For white i add 1-2drops of black. I use gunze aqueous.

crayzee ur kits is great but i just feel tat the shading part looks like it does not joint with the whiter part! Some of the parts looks more like a line than shading!
Keep up ur good work! Looking forward for ur next kit!

Finally finished my Gunner Wizard and Blaze Wizard packs for my Zaku. Pictars! If you noticed, I had some spare decals lying around, so I used them on the Zaku. Edited: Holy crap forgot to resize This post has been edited by jhcj: Nov 26 2007, 02:34 AM

I done this 1 this afternoon. only used fine line marker, well it dun need other colours excerpt for gold and pink for the beam saber i guess. Photos taken with my w800i camera phone More photos » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « As you can see, i left the chin part gold instead of red, turn out not tat bad Side View Rear View Strike Noir vs Gold Frame Strike Freedom vs Strike Noir, for fun I did a careless mistake...the back of it's head shud be black so i tried to paint it. I forgot black fine line marker wudnt look really nice then i try to rub it off by using alcohol. Who noes the whole gold coating gone....i guess this wat u call being a SmartA**. Guys, izit obvious? please tell me hornestly T_T The model kit is satisfying for me only tat the flexibility i'm not happy wif. the head and arms can't turn much. *out-topic. i'm very surprise to see tat the pics taken by my phone is sooo nice This post has been edited by darklancer: Nov 26 2007, 08:43 PM

|
Completed my Crossbone X1 Ver. Ka.... a few details before showing the pics : 1. Hand-painted. 2. Colours used : ( all gunze sangyo ) Flat White, Metal Black, Gun Chrome, Gloss Red, Midnight Blue 3. Havent added the decals yet... so many decals to add. Wait tomoro only start fixing them on.... 4. Took around 5 days to paint/assemble. Take note i did not paint the purplish colour part... i cant seem to find the right mix. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by noob4life: Nov 27 2007, 10:33 PM
