This is my MG Zaku II MS-06J, second time attempt in hand painting + sanding method , my first MG is a F91
There are some minor visible brush strokes. I have added a few drops of mr.retarder but still the paint dry up kinda fast. I'm using tamiya acrylics btw. Any comments?

haha waiting for the paint to fully cure 1st. Weapons havent paint yet


I used black gloss (1:1 alcohol:paint) and only airbrushed the edges i want to darken. I didnt airbrushed the whole thing black. For white i add 1-2drops of black. I use gunze aqueous.

4 layers of different paints:

humbrol enamel for back coat
Alclad II chrome
gunze clear blue
and lastly gunze aqueous gloss clear
