In my opinion, P2 slightly slower compare to stolen Xioami Mi Max.

I was pointing to Gaming But for internet usage, either Xioami Mi Max or Lenovo P2 doesn't have any lag/performance drop.

If watch movie/streaming/gaming, in my opinion Xioami Mi Max performance better then Lenovo P2. Other then that, on-par excluding for Lenovo P2 camera > Xioami Mi Max camera.

I need to get a second device/phone to cover the "audio recording bug/features" of Lenovo P2 for video+audio recording purposed.

The performance difference of the soc between mi4i and p2 is day and night imo. Non comparable. P2 soc 625 imo in real term usuage is just slightly slower than soc 650.

That was taken when P2 was in deep sleep... just double-click the volume button and it snaps in less than 2 seconds....Hence, I don't bother to check whether blur or not as it is merely from sleep... Always do this after I parked my car. Just double-click the volume button and I know where I park my car edy.....no need to tap-to-focus laaa.... unlock the device laaa... too slow "experience"....No point having powerful chipset if the "experience" is horrible...

I have Parkinson decease... I do have shaky hands... thus, the camera in P2 does no good to me anyhow... only my Note5 is my pure camera galore ...LOL...

a big statement there mate. AnTuTu ,they are only numbers after all and have no bearing whatsoever on real world usage.

you are almost slow down by half by downgrade from Redmi Note 4 to P2 ??- dont make me laugh.

the Xiaomi Note series even up to the latest generation, is only a phone for the budget conscious buyer or for those who want a stand-by with a rather long battery life.the RN3 and RN4 serve its purpose by being a very reasonably price phone but overall,both simply lacks the P2 more premium user experience feel.the overall built quality ,screen display,music and movie audio output quality with DAC and AMP,expansion slot versatility,RAM  and a much improve UI make it on par with some flagships model.many people think the P2 is only about a big arse battery where infact it has much more to offer.

Xiaomi created and marketed them for a reason, to dump this 2 bugger into the market to kick its competitor nose ,making them hard to breathe ,to boost sales figure and thus better phone manufacturers sales ranking placement knowing well they dont bring much if any profits at all.

i have tested the RN3 for a week which i bought for my sis,one unit which i sent in for repair was meant for Singapore market but ship here probably to dump here cheaply (i have no complaints as the warranty was honored )and also use the Mi5 Prime 64gb for 2 months and although the Mi5 can hold its own on performance ,it is just a light and smallish phones and it could serve no other purpose especially ,media consumption.although it has the SD820, honestly ,i feel no difference in performance at all when compare to the P2.so to me after comparing ,SD 820 or whatever dont matter or hold any water except for those who care for paper specs ,are rich or are deluded and/or  wannabe youtube or internet reviewer.i must admit it is fun to watch and read though, as they took turns to justify those numbers and colorful charts  which in the end have no bearing in everyday use.cant blame them as many of them need to be seen as a PRO in writing,talking and drawing something.

i guess you just pluck those numbers from there and paste it here and try to make a statement just by those silly numbers. ahhh....if only ,buying and selling smartphones can be this silly, simple and easy

how do you know i am a light user on the P2? what makes you think i like the design and the higher price ? who said the RN4 is faster than P2 by half? you kah ? 

like many others ,though i can afford more expensive phones  .i will only buy phones i deem most suitable for me and me only.although the RN4 is cheaper ,i have my reasons for choosing the P2 and why should i be ashamed of myself if i were to use the RN4.because you say so ah

Hopefully i dont see anyone now boasting about antutu scores as real life usage is very different. Also fyi MTK soc isn't famous on real term usuage performance and batttery life when compared to Snapdragon.

And antutu isnt subjective? If you call yourself an tech enthusiast, that's funny. The link i shared is one video. Please research more. I never said SD625 is faster than mtk X20. I just said mtk has performance issues generally and isnt power efficient as Snapdragon.

Once again antutu can never be used to make final conclusion on real use smartphone performance.

Me if not happy, I'll quickly sell the unit. Just like what happened to hot-selling models like RN3P.

But this P2 is giving me  experiences beyond my expectations. So, it's a keeper...

I'm doing Uber and Grab as my past-time hobby with my Prius... So, using navi for more than 6 hours without charging is a must which RN3P failed due to overheating after 30 minutes Navi...Got 2 units... 32GB imported and the 16GB Malaysia set... Both overheated after prolong Navi...Sad but that's the reality...
