can anyone confirm if the P2 can support pre-formatted SDXC 64gb or 128 gb micro sdcard in exfat format or need to format to fat32.
i cant afford to have the card formatted to fat32, the reason is i often switch sdcard between other phones which all support the exfat version.thanks
I just slot in the 64GB U3 card and no need to format anything... P2 just reads the card out-of-the-box right away...So, is this U3 card exFAT from factory...? I dunno... RM177.50 @ Lazada - Lifetime Warranty.
bro Azhar, i already fancy this have to come from you.thanks
mind to ask if you have format your sandisk extreme pro 64gb before on the P2 or elsewhere. if you havent ,that means the P2 support factory formatted SDXC-exfat big storage version 64gb and above right away.the exfat is the latest version and the fat32 is the older version and for 32gb and below .hey ,that extreme pro aint cheap and meant for high end DSLR or Mirrorless cameras or 4k video shooting
edit : smartphones may support 128gb but it still need to be formatted to fat32 AND are not compatible with exfat natively.the downside are if user with data and file in their exfat version , it has to be erase through formatting to fat32 for the phones to recognize it and this could be dangerous for user who did not back-up their files and out of curiosity and desperation for quick use ,format their exfat to fat32 and as a result all datas are lost

No. I just slot the card straight to P2. No formatting is required. Hence, P2 supports exFAT and backward compatibility to other formats as well.

Bos, max support is how many gb? Our p2? 256gb cankah
Since it supports exFAT, technically P2 can read/write beyond 128GB.
Me don't have 256GB card, can't test...
But guarantees to be able to read/write HDD via the provided microUSB-to-female-USB adapter...So, no need to waste money buy 128GB and above microSD... Better buy 4GB external HDD to stream directly to P2 using VR summore...
