Final conclusion must be made based on Antutu because real life usage is very subjective. Hopefully I won't see anyone boasting about real life usage because that is your usage and not mine.

BTW ,in case you need reminders, benchmarking readings ,however accurate or subjective ,are merely instruments and tools to be use as buying guide and not the final and only decisions..many users nowadays already knows ,difference in speed if (any) are only in milliseconds and it does not affect their everyday use .for those who hold the belief that higher benchmarking reading can improve and enhance their user experience,will accordingly to their budget ,go ahead and make their choice.there is no right or wrong .

Unless  the SoC are from years ago which are now obsolete which have big differences than yes if they wish ,they can look up to benchmarking reading comparison if they dont know what else to look to.the SD625 does have its shortcomings,but for many and for what it can do ,it is already  more than sufficient

But this P2 is giving me  experiences beyond my expectations. So, it's a keeper...

In comparison to Mi5s and Note 5, P2 camera smear too much even at bright scene. Totally unusable for serious mobile photography. Mi5s almost same price as P2 but sport a SD821 which 2.5 times faster than SD625 and run cool too because using 14nm process node. P2 is totally not acceptable for photo taking.

The youtube video above is bias because he own P2 and he has no chance to buy Mi5s like us.

My friend bought 2 mi5s 128gb at RM1480 each. There is a cheaper 64gb version which priced comparable to P2.

He happily using it. He appreciates the camera and the speed. One is for his brother. Both are happy user. Bought from Lazada Terabyte. Came in sealed box.

yes it is awesomely efficient and beast of a phone ito batt. it is very smooth than i thought for a 625 but it not have the 820 prowess. camera no complain for me as im the most casual of shooter imaginable. i sold it at rm220 as i want to sell it real fast but i tot the rm100 difference not really different much to me

a sub rm840 (incl SP =casing after repeat purchaser discount) 5" Lenovo Zuk Z2 as a second phone. Im expecting quite a lot from this 5" phone with 3500mah QC 3.0 should be quite lasting...i replace it with the P2 because i figured i have primary phone also so no need secondary lasting phone so i traded battery to performance ,better camera n much lighter and smaller body n couldnt resist the popular Zuk z2 online review too especially the physical homebutton is basically a P2 homebutton on crack

For Redmi Note 3 is around 6~7 hours because of 4050mAH battery.
Bear in mind that Redmi Note 3 is faster than SD625 and thus in the same hour, Redmi Note 3 accomplish more stuff compared to P2.

Which means SD625 probably good for Standby but not really good for SOT.

Imo p2 rom are lightweight or aosp levels while miui@touchwiz@etc are heavy weight rom..

Thus why p2 more efficient vs other phone that have similar specs..

I can confirm that as I 've been consistently achieving the same playing HIT (get it from playstore, very nice and addictive game!) from fully charge down to 10% or less, 50% brightness and i usually get around 9 hours. So average drain is indeed 10% per hour, and could be even less if u dim the display slightly. But the screen is so nice and battery is beast so I dont bother doing that

This is where Apple is so smart not to adopt AMOLED in their previous product lineups. Use old dated IPS is cheap and easy to outsource.

Now that AMOLED is "reasonably" priced, I don't see why phone manufacturers reluctant to adopt AMOLED in their mid-tiers segments. Perhaps the demand is still higher than supply...

Hence, replacing a broken AMOLED screen will still be expensive compared to IPS LCD, which, the main reason most of us opt for tempered glass or some sort of protector(s).
