1) In the VoLTE coverage, and
2) Both devices support VoLTE; granted by telco.

Hence, VoLTE is kind of slow in progress due to telco themselves. They are promoting it quite well but the infrastructure and supported devices are very limited.

P2 supports YES telco and its VoLTE network. But none of my friends or family subscribe to YES network. So, edy terminated my YES prepaid account...LOL...there goes the first VoLTE failure story...

I'm still waiting for webe to roll out VoLTE for their Band 40...

really? how come yes doesn't get it listed in their website  .. if they do, no doubt many more yes users will get p2.

will try mine later, for now using it as 2nd sim ( for data ) in s7e.. the battery will be dead, if i'm lucky & not really using at 3pm at most.  taking 2nd active sim out could push to it 5pm.

I thought Volte is enabled in all DiGi 4g network?

Please acknowledge the info below:
P2 running Mellow firmware: VoLTE works in SIM 1.
P2 running Nougat firmware: VoLTE  works in both SIM 1 & 2 nano-slots.

I edy tried my friend's DiGi SIM card. His Mate 9 can detect 4G+ and VoLTE. Put his SIM card into P2, can only detect 4G+ but no VoLTE icon appears. Called DiGi careline, they said they will only enable Mate 9 as of now. More devices to be VoLTE enabled soon (which is an unknown ETA for P2 and others).

This is sad. I'm forced to buy Mate 9 or iPhone 6 plus. Dammnit... lol...

Or I need to get Mate 9 from Webe. Should have get it when my wife ported to Webe.

Do that coz webe gives free 9-month subscription (ie RM79 x 9 months x 1.06 GST = RM753.66). But you need to have RM2,805 upfront. There's no installment plan sadly...

You can terminate webe after you've obtained the Mate 9. But, why do that when webe gives 9-month free access to #webemobile... It's kind of "lite-contract" strategy...
