My supplier confirm 2nd batch of their p2 majority having the same prob. Either audio or camera or rotation or all..
Already pass supplier to send to sc, wait and see first for 2 to 4 weeks..
In the mean time they pass me zen3 max to play with
Oh ya din't really try out the rotation as I always use my phone in portrait mode except for youtube videos. Good for u la a zen3 max, i got a zen6 with constant low battery + overheating + flickering screen lol

Just got back my unit and am happy to report that the speaker unit has been replaced. I dint know that the speaker is capable of producing such output, which is why i initially commented that the phone isnt any louder than the rest (with the faulty speaker out of the box).

Hi bro Azhar, just wanna know your thoughts on the silicone case on our phones. Considering it is quite thick, do u think it is necessary to take it off while charging to reduce the heat so that it wont do damage to the battery?

Well, the gel case is quite thick as you mention. I just put P2 on the floor tiles while charging with the gel case. It's better to remove the gel case if no screen protector is applied.
But with my nano PET in placed, I'm worried it will be ruined by frequently adjusting the gel case...So, I never remove the gel case while charging...Just put P2 on the floor tiles should ease the heat a little bit...
Alternatively, can lay flat the blade-less fan and put P2 lay flat on the "opening" circle...
I always do the bladeless trick to my routers, HDDs, and other critical electronic stuff...Same concept like laptop cooling pad...
Thanks for the valuable input! Shall remove it while charging since my screen guard is screwed anyway haha

They did a neat job ? No scratches etc?
Yeap, did a close inspection and no scratches/physical damage noted. Internally still under testing though, but should be fine except for the few identified bugs. Should also mention that they did the repair in just one day, received at 11am and got it done at 7pm as per the service report, and the customer service officer was extremely helpful, with continuous updates via whatsapp, unlike the local sc who lied to me that they sent the device on monday but refused to help me check the status, In the end the device actually reached kl sc on Thursday. But so long as i get my device back in good condition, no more complain =D

Just wondering does anyone actually check the participate in lenovo user experience program? I did not check it but still find the service running in background.

Settings > Memory > Memory used by apps > User experience data service > "Info"-circle icon > Force stop > Data usage > Toggle ON "Restrict background data".

We can't find it inside the "Data Usage" menu as the "Lenovo User Experience Program" is baked into the system/ROM.... so, have to dig inside "Memory". The same goes to other "background/system" services that we want to disabled the background data usage but still running in the system memory.
Correct me if im wrong, by doing this we only stop the background data but not the whole service? I restarted the phone and find it still running in background

The service is required for "other" purposes...but if we stop the "background data", at least it does not consumes bandwidth. however, the memory will be used by this service. Just root P2 to permanently kill this service....
But I won't root as the device/ROM is still "acceptable" from my inspection compared to Xiaomi's MIUI (which has dozens of "hidden" services eating up battery and memory...which requires Rooting as a MUST activity....).
P2 stock ROW ROM is still "clean" compared to MIUI....so rooting P2 is "personal choice" and not a "must"....
Thanks for the detailed explanation! I have restricted the background data, will see if it makes any difference.

It "might" deteriorate the WiFi, GPS and Network signal strength... however, there could be a new "version" of this kind of aluminium bumper with glass back.... Aluminium bumper with glass mirror
My wifi dropped straight from full to 3/5 or 4/5 after putting on. Outdoor signal wise, areas which i can easily get 4g+ become 4g. Nice looking case but sadly have to let it go haha

Repeat...
P2 is always kewl and sips energy to the minimum...
Before 1 hour Asphalt...(@100% battery) [attachmentid=8489690]
After 1 hour Asphalt...(P2 @ 90%) [attachmentid=8489694]
Source:
Conclusion: 1 hour Asphalt consumes 10% energy. Therefore, indirectly, P2 can play heavy title game(s) for about 10 hours NON-STOP (I repeat...NON-STOP) which resulting 10 hours SoT....
I can confirm that as I 've been consistently achieving the same playing HIT (get it from playstore, very nice and addictive game!) from fully charge down to 10% or less, 50% brightness and i usually get around 9 hours. So average drain is indeed 10% per hour, and could be even less if u dim the display slightly. But the screen is so nice and battery is beast so I dont bother doing that

No wonder my tempered glass won't fit properly. Lol.
Looks like have to go with the included sp.
Thanks for the info.
If you have balls of steel, u can do the following:
1) Take off cover and sit your phone flat 2) Inspect the curve at the bottom left/right corner of the phone 3) Clamp the screen and body hard with your fingers and make it flat
I was super frustrated with the bubble so I did that. Mind you, u need to apply a fair amount of force without worrying about breaking your phone. (with the force I applied, I managed to crack the edge of my tempered glass with just finger force) I have totally no air bubble on any side of my screen now
