QUOTE(judehow @ Dec 13 2016, 10:48 PM) Durability is very subjective. If the owner knows how to handle and operate properly, all phones should survive as per drawing board. Based on my previous experience with Lenovo P780 and K910, I'm gonna stick with this vendor for a very long time, so long as they come up with "attractive" propositions.Of course we can't take P2 in the shower or texting in the middle of heavy downpour... It was not designed to resist such environment...So, for the price one invested, it is well worth every penny IMHO by judging how other vendors jack-up the SRP price significantly... QUOTE(alucard89 @ Dec 14 2016, 08:37 AM) Wah, qc 3.0 For P2, LeMoto never advertised their charging system as QC 3.0. It is their proprietary charging technology called "Rapid Charge". But do they include qc 2.0/3.0 charger in the box? Nvm, saw at bottom post Could be better if tested with one of those usb voltmeter to see actual charge The "Rapid Charge" charger is included in the box. However, my personal test with Xiaomi 10,000mAh Slim Pro (which is compatible with Qualcomm QC 2.0) showing that P2 supports QC 2.0 chargers as well. I also tested with Tronsmart wall adapter(which is compatible with Qualcomm QC 3.0) also showing that P2 supports QC 3.0 as well. No matter what quick/fast/rapid/turbo/dash/express charge one uses, P2 can be energized back from 10% to 100% in NO MORE THAN 2 hours 30 minutes. It will always be lower than 3 hours for sure. I have yet to test with normal charger. Perhaps the 5,100mAh takes 5 hours to complete the full charge just like what I have experienced with Asus ZenFone Max (late 2015 edition that has 5,000 mAh battery). QUOTE(sanosizo @ Dec 14 2016, 11:00 AM) use an app called Ampere to check the amp value when charging. would you do us a favor and take a note on the amp when charging with both xiaomi powerbank and the tronsmart charger? don't do it when the battery almost full because the amp will drop when the charge goes above 90%. Next cycle. Now charging using stock rapid charger almost 90% edy...LOL..Anyway, my opinion on Ampere or similar apps is they are not that accurate... it's synthetic assessment. Does not count for energy lost due to heat, resistance of different cables, room temperature, etc. But, good enough for general indicator for Average Joe. QUOTE(miloy2k @ Dec 14 2016, 10:43 AM) nice more less what i got for my A9pro I hv Google App/Voice running all the time ...this fellow kills battery in silence (when screen is off). Hence, GPS also on all the time to ensure it gives me accurate info regarding traffic updates before I start my journey for next meeting. Very kewl stuff...Google App will prompt me to make a move now in order to reach my next appt in time becoz it reads my Google Calendar. Traffic in major cities is unpredictable especially when heavy downpours. So, this Google App (or Google Assistant today...) helps me a lot so far. Plus, it can also order me an Uber if required...nice...with Google Map in the device, just command "Navigate to next appointment" and off we go...no need to type or search as long as in Google Calendar we input the location info in the task/appointment. Tell this story to iPhone owners...their face will turn red...LOL... Apple ecosystem is not as impressive as one claims... This post has been edited by azhar75: Dec 14 2016, 11:34 AM |

The very first YouTube upload taken from P2...
Lighting is poor hence very grainy and low frame rate.... This post has been edited by azhar75: Dec 15 2016, 03:56 AM |

The AMOLED mode in P2 is similar to Note 5 "AMOLED Cinema" which is meant for multimedia contents. Unfortunately, P2 does not allow one to adjust the screen mode like any other Galaxy series. Hence the colour is set for "AMOLED Cinema" all the time.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « In my Note 5, I set the AMOLED screen mode to "Basic". This post has been edited by azhar75: Dec 14 2016, 03:55 PM |

P2 is using the old Sony IMX258 sensor. Nothing to shout about.
Mi4C also IMX258...it's old sensor Xperia XA too... While awaiting for "official professional" review on P2 camera, the above is fair enough to be at par with P2. Only software algorithm will determine whether P2 output is better than Mi4C or XA. OnePlus X and Xiaomi Mi5S Plus using this old camera sensor too...? However, LeMoto has decided to use this sensor in order to get the price-is-right impression. Hence, I have no high expectations on P2 photography results. QUOTE(drummer23 @ Dec 14 2016, 09:43 PM) U got me wrong bro. I don fancy 2k for this price. I mean if its ips lcd. The pixels will be smaller to notice and doesnt have those amoled pixelated effect. The era of IPS is gone... next future panel will be AMOLED-HDR or IGZO... no offense but I already boring with IPS...LOL.. Next iPhone 7S Plus/8 Plus/X Plus (I'd prefer Apple to call it iPhone DECADE)... will be 2K AMOLED...? So, LeMoto is doing it right for P2 instead of using "Legacy" IPS in order to boost the energy consumption further... However, the Super AMOLED here is not LG/Sharp/Sammy warehouse.... it's cheapo China-based AMOLED....I have no issue with this panel so far... it's just how durable this China-based AMOLED panel that concerns me after 365 days....This post has been edited by azhar75: Dec 14 2016, 10:39 PM |

QUOTE(ashraf095 @ Dec 14 2016, 09:44 PM) Camera is the only reason i think it is not worth. Heck, Lenovo even use the same camera sensor in their budget phone Lenovo K6 Power which is around the price of Redmi 3s. They buy lots of stock for this sensor at bargain price...it's like stock clearance sales by Sony Team....LOL...This post has been edited by azhar75: Dec 15 2016, 01:37 AM |
