No proprietary gallery app. All lump into Google Photos. This will reduce RAM usage further and real-time Google cloud backup (if needed).

Welcome to the "uncommon" single-Home button implementation... P2 has both on-screen and single-Home button navigations.

The single-Home button acts as Fingerprint sensor as well as navigation too.

Single tap = Back
Tap-and-hold = Recent app list
Press = Home

While device is locked/sleep, tap to unlocked and activate device

You can totally DISABLE Google Photos and install 3rd party app if you wish...lots of choices in PlayStore for 3rd party Gallery app...read their reviews...

To me, it's better to keep the gallery by Google Photos in order to search using Google Voice later....



Viewing to 4K TV is straight forward....

I have webe (unlimited data). And with 5100mAh battery, backup on-the-fly is not an issue...but of course using microSD card is better but the risk of the microSD card to get corrupted is always there...

Method One : WhatsApp to insert GooPho.

Method two : GooPho to search and share to WhatsApp...

Use Method Two is easier to me...



If you use Mtd One, after tap Gallery in WA, there is three dots at top-right corner to use whatever 3rd party gallery you prefer to insert the pix...

No, unfortunately...

But half of the works should be done by Google Backup.... If we have used Google Backup in current phone, then, when first boot P2 and sign-in to Google Account, it will prompt to whether set the phone as "New Device" or clone from current phone....

Accessories.... that's all so far.... if you like naked phones, this is not an issue then...

Dual SIM hybrid is also a boner killer... They should've maintained the dedicated microSD slot like P1...

Camera is subjective.... I personally "impressed" with the camera by judging side-by-side with Note 5 and Redmi Note 3 Pro.

I'm in the middle of drafting my in-depth review looking for the "Quirks" parts of P2...

As expected... you can change the battery percentage icon to AOSP style so that the font is bigger...

On paper, P2 should work with YES TD-LTE.


Update:
It's confirmed P2A42 supports YES 4G LTE with VoLTE as well out-of-the-box...

Let us know if u managed to successfully operate AdAway app in P2 without unblocking the bootloader.

Tips:
1) Do not run "fastboot oem unlock".
2) Do not run "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img".
3) Instead, just run "fastboot boot recovery.img" and flash the SuperSU zip from there.

Next question, which/where to get this "recovery.img" for P2...?

Today only I can start the assessment... Have patience my son... This P2 is so stubborn to die...LOL...

FYI:
P1 2GB was RM1,199 last year

So, P2 at extra RM100 is a bargain to me. They managed to "control" the price despite of currency rate of Ringgit today vs Ringgit in Nov 2015. I was intrigue to know the intro is RM1,299. I thought RM1,499 to have similar price bracket with Huawei Nova Plus and ZenFone 3.

However, other manufacturers, the intro price has jumped between RM200 - RM300. Look at Asus ZenFone 2 vs 3; Honor 7 vs 8; OnePlus 2 vs 3 vs 3T; iPhone, Nexus vs Pixel, Sammy, HTC, LG, Sony, ZTE, etc... almost all vendors (except Xiaomi and LeEco) mark-up the intro price beyond my "expectation", including Motorola themselves. Moto Z Play is suppose to be RM1,599 but launched at RM1,999 and now drop to RM1,799....

Even in India market, only Xiaomi sustain the low-price strategy...LeEco is planned to walk-out from the party...India market is super-huge...very high volume and yet they decided to mark-up the intro price...


So, in Malaysia, the market volume is small, if vendor mark-up the intro price, I just say "Sorry... I'll choose to keep my phone or trade-in with Xiaomi....". But LeMoto P2 is "special" to me in terms of intro/launching price and my needs of longevity...

Any other devices that has close spec to Dual active 4G+3G SIMs + 4GB RAM + 5.5" Super AMOLED screen + Sony camera sensor + Texas Instrument Audio + Android Mallow out-of-the-box.....? The nearest "similar" contender would be ZTE Axon 7 Mini (but Snap617...it's the rejected SoC of the year 2015/16)
