Can everyone keeps an update on Kinokuniya's Offer like 20% or 30% off the book price with another purchase.

Would be helpful to me to time my acquisition.

I was there yersterday, the following were part of their 'Gems of the Month' selection (25% off).

Mighty Avengers Premeire Hardcover
Iron Man Demon In A Bottle Premeire Hardcover
Queen and Country Definitive Edition
Bone One Volume Edition
Green Lantern Sinestro Corps War 1

They also had 20% discount on the X-men First Class trade, Spidey OMD, and a few other titles.

Bone.. now that is interesting.  X-Men : First Class.. nostalgic.
Indeed. Usually its the new releases that is discounted, wonder what's the reasoning with Bone.

I love Jeff Parker's work on First Class but I'm holding out for the eventual hardcover collection.

I just finished the Eisner Award nominated 'Nightly News' by Hickman from Image Comics. Anyone into serious, thought provoking stories should check this out... easily the best overlooked story of 2007.
Yeah, it's a work of brilliance. Writting was great, art and panel layout was truly original. Definately one of the best of 2007.

I'm looking forward to the trade of Pax Romana.

I just got 2 TBP from Borders, They were having some anniversary thingy and all English and Malay books had 15% discount.
Do you happen to know how long the promotion will be going on for?

Btw, I heard that Kinokuniya is having a month long promotion for all their comic titles (20% off with purchase of another item).

Oo where and how much? I just picked up the Justice League International ystd. Funny stuff.
Kinokuniya. It retails for RM 170, but thanks to a 25% off coupon from The Star, I got it for RM 130. thumbup.gif

I've heard good things about JLI but I'm holding out for a paperback. I hate these premiere hardcovers Marvel & DC are putting out.
