i have this problem when i put on i/o panel. so right now, im taking it off.
would that be casing problem ? im using wall socket.

That's kinda weird... your rig will only short circuit if put the IO panel?

I also got this type of problem. but my 1 abit funny...it's sometime got, sometime dont have. So wat cause tis?

most of the time is cause by powersupply
the normal cheap 1 will have alot of this problem if u want to void the warranty its easy to solce it
just connect a cavle from the powersupply metle case to the ground and cut some small piece of plastic into washer and put them inbetween the powersupply board where the screw is
this will take away the effect of the shocking effect

Agree ..definately it should be the extension's fault...poor grounding is one of the cause another is the live/neutral wire is crossed ...

find a piece of wire...screw one exposed end to the casing then the other end to the grounding pin on the trailing socket's plug.

some china dvd players oso have tis prob...most of the time. i do this and prob goes away

last time my old cap ayam casing also will kena shocked.. veri horror.. whole finger jadi keras.. thn i change a new casing..problem solve...weird..

i think is the powersupply gt problem and the current flow to whole casing.. cause i change my comp to a new casing wif new psu thn problem solved

i'm facing the same prob wif Cooler Master Centurion 5 + Topower M2 600W PSU... i don have tat kind of problem at my shop... juz at home so i think my power point earth is not working... any other way to ground it...? hmm.gif

already checked... and double checked... even my Enermax FMAII 535W same prob wif the powerpoint in my room... plug at my living room OK... blink.gif
