Apply credit card and start building a good credit rating. I still remember November 2007. I applied with CIMB credit card.. rm5k limit... Fast forward today, the limit they gave me is 130k. Strive to earn more, make use of 0 percent interest and make sure you SETTLE FULL PAYMENT EVERY MONTH..I was once like u. Take home only rm1.8k. hard life. Use credit card for rolling expenses. Get salary, settle full payment for previous month's expenses. I still remember even when I'm poor, I'm happier back then. Young and dangerous (more like broke) lol...

Lol yes I started with direct access (CIMB) gold card reserved for new graduates. That rm5k limit really helped me with my daily expenses especially for petrol and dining. I remember I worked late 12 am everyday just to escape paying the parking (push the barrier up lol just to save rm10 parking). Now holding the CIMB visa infinite.. I prefer cash back and no annual fees. Plus there's insurance coverage when I book air tickets.

Hehe but if I were you, it's better have a backup cc with international bank just in case. I.e HSBC/Citibank.. my CIMB give high limit even tho I have less than 1k in savings with them tongue.gif trying not to keep so much RM nowadays as I need to hold some hard currency just in case Malaysia emergency.. No idea bout MBB, but so far I'm quite happy with the level of service provided by HSBC and CIMB.
