QUOTE(tot31 @ Feb 13 2007, 07:40 PM) I'm using Samsung drive and got no problem going LIVE with it modded. But nevertheless it IS illegal. EDIT: To add on, I remember reading back when I only played Halo 2, in the Halo 2 forums someone got banned. He said he didn't mod but he was invited into a modder's game and he played with him for quite a while. Some guy replied saying it's against the rules to play with modders too This post has been edited by Hamster X: Feb 13 2007, 07:48 PM

Modding in halo 2 days are just so wild until you can see cheaters everywhere.
So there is always good and bad, homebrew is one thing but people get to exploit the modding machine as well. It's really frustrating seeing "god" in halo 2, some of us like console online gaming because cheaters are minimum.
Anyway, to the thread starter. So far there is nothing to justify the modding scene yet, or any worthwhile homebrew and we all know why people wana mod now - pirated games.
If wana be safe, just don't mod it. Althought it's not 100% safe from brick+ing your xb360 but at least you can lower down the probability of getting a brick360.
Till then, thread close. Cheers.
