Honda Civic is one of the winner listed in ASEAN NCAP Grand Prix Awards 2016. It proves that we have made the right choice rclxms.gif .

rclxms.gif haha ... ya~previously my dad purchase camry also ask them to take out insurance and buy etiqa
but IMO, better buy honda insurance for civic... anything happen ~ your car will go to honda panel insurer's workshop..
Its Civic.. Its turbo engine.. Do you think if meet accident "touch wood, those insurance company's workshop could fix your civic?
Proton and perdua or any old model maybe any workshop can do it.. but Civic especially your engine issues...im not sure biggrin.gif
*
Not true, if touch wood, anything happen to the car, you still have to send your car back to Honda SC to fix it (because of the warranty). The insurance is just there to pay your bill only. The process is still the same if you use honda or other's insurance service.

PS: if accident happen, and you let other workshop to fix your car during the warranty period, your car warranty will be void.

are you sure?
if minor issues sure go to Honda SC and they will fix for you..
if major accident happen..
under HIP, your car will be bought to honda appointed workshop
https://www.honda.com.my/assets/pdf/hip.pdf
under others insurance company, your car will be bought to their appointed workshop..
all insurance company have their appointed workshop.. they could waive and re-calculate your claim if you sent other workshop..

warranty will not be affected..

hmm.gif nvm. see anyone else answer..

oh. then what my friend brief me previously was wrong. bangwall.gif thanks for the highlight. doh.gif

What I booked and want is available and ready stock. just wonder if register in 2017 will make any difference to the value...
*
if you buy now and register later in 2017, your car geran still show that your car is manufactured in 2016. i believe the car value is determined by manufactured year instead of registered year.

IMO, buying car in end of the year with adequate rebate is not a concern unless you told me that you gonna sell your car within next 3-5 years.

congratz, I getting the car this saturday. Now thinking about the maintenance of the car. Is any owner of TC/TCP send the car to service within 3 or 4 months due to service A? Is it a huge difference to main the car with 1.8 and 1.5? May be now is abit too late to concern about the maintenance as i getting the car this sat. sweat.gif

Guys, just got my car this afternoon. I had go for LLumar Diamond 6 tint. Initially i tot that all windows, rear and front windscreen should be sticked with diamond 6 tint. But the workshop ppl told me that diamond 6 package is only cover on 4 windows and front and rear windscreen only cover with LLumar Gold.

Is it true? Need your advice, please.

Notice my rear left door gap is wider than rear right door gap. Can sc fixed this? Or it is build to be like this?

How do we usually read the service indicator? I checked my service panel indicator, noticed that there is "A" appear on the screen. Is it normal?

Well.. I thought the price is all the same regardless any colour.. Somemore he said only WOP add-on rm400.. Other colour no need to add cash..
*
If you checked the Honda official website, the WOP only require you to pay extra RM300 only. Please confirmed with your SA again (Not RM400). Perhap it is not a ordinary white and it is white pearl, so they charge more RM300, which is make sense to me.

i remember there's this thing to plug in that autofold mirrors when we lock the car, lock when we hit the brakes, unlock when we shift to P. what is this thing called?
*
Magical Plug.... kidding. I also want to know about it. But for the Civic, there is setting you can select to lock your car when you drive until certain speed or shift your gear knob from P.

Other than the tyre noise, my rear left passenger size has some loosing noise. Couldnt really figure out what noise is that. When the car move on the uneven road, the loosing noise will be noticeable. The sound is like caused by wire hit on metal. But i have checked up and down front and rear and dont know where went wrong.

Guys, do you have that bad experience before?
