hi guys. wan to know the auto headlamp after switch off engine, the light still on. need manual turn the knob to off.
thoughts its auto off also.. :/
mine is 1.8 variant
*
It is called home light feature

Idea is there will be some light on until u unlock your house n switch on house light

But i found out as long as your door open the light will remain there. The timing (based on your setting in headunit) will only start counting after all door closed

Just leave it there, its a good feature smile.gif

Do you know this civic HU is among the few car models that offer android auto and apple carplay?

Im not sure what u plan to install there, but if just for navigation purposes, android google map and apple map can get you to destination, despite being less user friendly than waze do

So why not try to live with what we have now until they find a way to get waze in smile.gif

Hey guys do u guys recommend to spray this part ?
*
Looks quite deep..

Go to paint shop n ask to touchup

No need paint entire bumper (trust me there will be shop saying need to paint all to make it looks similar)

Small touchup for that scratch should be cheap, less than rm100 i think

Just hope for some advice from members who owned both cars

My test drive review

Civic 2017
Interior Dashboard - more technology feel from inside
Seats - soft and low but still ok
Power - tested 1.8S seems enough for me (i am driving a 16yrs old Kelisa now)
Handling - superb !

Altis FL 2017
Interior Dashboard - typical toyota
Seats - seems harder (better for long distance driving?)
Power -  same as previous model
Handling - ok
*
I compare mine with my bro-in-law altis (2015 model)

I will leave all the bells n whistles aside as it is not worth comparing

Plus the driving experience civic fc handling wins hands down

P/s: i also upgraded from kelisa biggrin.gif

Hey guys, I have submitted my loan for Civic 1.8, then the SA only give me 2k discount. At first I was like, okay la Honda discount memang 2k. Then suddenly my friend said he bought his car got 6k discount ma. I told my SA how come only got 2k discount when other people give atleast 4k, he matimati tamaukasi woo. Stick to 2k only. But loan already approved just havent signed it yet. My friend recommend his SA, give 5.5k for Civic 1.8.

What do you guys think? Should I cancel and go with other SA? Can the loan bring forward to other SA?
*
Yeah.. u can use approved loan with other SA

Teach him a lesson !

As long as u havent sign the bank loan, i think it is ok to change anything u want.

Hi. We are intending to get a car for our parents, 65 years old. Anyone parents driving this car ? How's the driving experience ? Is it very low and may not be comfortable for old people ?
*

Hi Sawamura,

May i know where did you do you bypass ? I want to go and get it done too.

Also once bypass is done, do you connect using HDMI cable or using just a USB cable ?

My main requirement is to be able to use Waze .

Thanks
*
Did mine in AKA accessories shah alam. But i believe plenty out there selling this bypass cable. Just make aure u get a quality one.

Bypass is to watch video through usb even after u disengaged the auto handbrake

To use waze, u still need mirrorlink
