As others mentioned I prefer restore from PC iTunes. Faster than iCloud a lot. Also I not planning subscribe additional iCloud storage.

Turn off background app refresh for app you don't need the notification for. In my case, I only leave it on for whatsapp whereas I turned it off for others like facebook.

Raise to wake is a good function and I don't think it will eat up a lot of your battery.

If you exit the app (as in double click the home button and swipe it out) and with background turned off, i couldnt get any notification in whatsapp at all.

Should not be a problem. I am using ipad charger (10W 2.1A) one and i monitored the temperature of the battery and it is found to be same/negligible difference while it was charged by the supplied charger (5W 1A) or by the ipad charger.

For both charger, my battery temperature max at 34 degree C and lowest around 30 degree C.

I think it is 5W , not 5V.

Today I make an accidentally switch the Apps Store region from Web iTunes store open at iPhone Apps Store and All my Apple Music songs immediate get delete without any warning!  Yizz! (it get delete because once you change region they cancel your subscription. At least they shall give a warning! - I only seen warning about Apps Store not the Apple Music.) Change at iPhone directly will tell you about this but not from Web iTunes to iPhone App Store way.

This mistake do let me taste how the TV apps are compare with current Videos. The Videos app is back after phone restart.

After switch back to Malaysia region, I do get back my Apple Music list but I need to download all back again by clicking all the album one by one, OMG!  Now only download back 9.5 GB, I got total of 34GB! wonder when will finish download as I use streamyx now as my Maxis quota left not much and still got 10 days need to go... 

Only the songs in your iPhone device get delete not the list but I prefer listen offline and I got 340 albums inside where I need to one by one click download back.

I never use iTunes transfer any songs before as it is not needed.

Either buy at iTunes or subscribing to Apple Music and direct download at phone.

That one only certain songs, so iTunes is not that important unless specific time only. 

i never use any other smartphones than Android since 2009. I am tired of tinkering. I felt more productive using iOS(cuz i know i cant change stuff), although some straight forward sharing files/docs in email that used to be one-click in Android, requires few more extra steps. I felt more comfortable gaming on iOS too. hahahaha.

my only wish iOS 11, allows developers to add some way to allow background process automatically after some action. for example my gripe right now, I need to open Google Photos to make sure the backup process is running. I used to be able to snap and forget, open in my pc, there's my photos. on iOS i always forgot its not backed up yet. sometimes it uploads(not all), sometimes it didnt. need to open the app. but of course, this will need a lot of considerations on how Apple need to implement this, as dev might take advantage and then become rogue apps like in Android. it'll affect battery life for sure~

I did. If you read a lot of posts in iphone subreddit, most android converts asks about this and the answer will be, "thats the limitation of iOS", even though some will suggest like you said, but it really didnt work reliably, which is confirmed by most of the people who use GPhotos a lot.

What i'm worrying is it takes only 1 hour to charge from 20% until 80% then from 80% until 100% it takes 1 hour . That's mean 2 hours only to fully charge my phone.. is it normal ? Because when i use ori apple charger n cable it takes about 3 hours to fully charge
