Should not be a problem. I am using ipad charger (10W 2.1A) one and i monitored the temperature of the battery and it is found to be same/negligible difference while it was charged by the supplied charger (5W 1A) or by the ipad charger.
For both charger, my battery temperature max at 34 degree C and lowest around 30 degree C.
to clear charging doubts, one must understand device draw appropriate current, so if your charger can output 5V/3A, 9V/2A..... plug your iphone 7 to it, iphone will draw around 1.5-2A@5V, i not too sure how many Amp iPhone 7 max can draw... but if your charger output max 0.5A, then iphone will draw 0.5A
have to understand it is not the charger pushing the current to the device... it is the device that draw current
but charging is all about device draw current, dont too worry about charger output Amp too high
unless you have some cheap charger that may spoil your phone

mostly those good charger with higher output Amp suitable for iphone
