Guys, i need you opinions and views between these 2 cars. Corolla AE10x/EE10x series or Civic EGx series? And also how much is the market price for both?

Seems like Corolla looks much more like a family car and Civic is much more sportier. I don't really mind. I'm also considering engine convertion. For the engines, prolly fix a BT 20v for corolla and B16 for the civic. The price with installation?

How about the quality of these 2 cars? Corolla more stable or Civic? Which one is nicer to ride? I mean the interior la..

Thanks!

In terms of engine, one is VVT-L and the other is VTEC.

Toyota built for reliability while Honda is performance with VTEC high pitch sound when it kicks in tongue.gif

oh ya, the blacktop 20v got VVT. comes with diesel engine sound alike cause of the 4 throttle horns so they said.

BT 20V got VVT? unsure.gif My suggestion...find a 2 door EG6 which comes with B16A. Swap the block with CRV's 2.0 litre block drool.gif Also a 2 door EG looks awesome if you properly do it up thumbup.gif

Dun justify VTEC's by that single video. No doubt in my mind that BT 20V engines are superb engines but somehow VTEC engines seem to be more refined and fun to drive partly because of the VTEC itself. But I somehow prefer an EG to an AE Toyota as the better overall performing car wink.gif

one s a 5 cylinder engine while the other is a 4 cylinder. undoubtly, the extra cylinder and 4 valves gives the extra performance

this one i have to agree. it's not that i'm leaning towards the BT 20v. it's just some fun video to see. smile.gif

My opinion is both of these cars are great platform for car modification as there are engine conversions available for those looking for extra performance. Unless if u a pure performance junkie, the honda civic has an edge over the corolla.
