Garden memang one of the selling points for some of EM/EW existing projects. That time when I bought my Tenderfields as there is no backlane for it, so it didn't catch my attention. As for Cradleton, I don't remember they sold the backlane concept but one thing for sure they showed the leng leng pics of the township lah the backlane pic of Cradleton was indeed only appeared to me in one of the talks later (actually I posted it in the forum).

I did go to the launching event of EM / Cradleton also mah. That time Tenderfields not launched yet.

If we make a fairer comparison ie Cradleton vs SEH precint 1, I think Cradleton has upper hand (but can only make fair judgement after seeing the Cradleton final product).

Just to clarify - NO intention at all to look down any project of SEH or EM here be it the cheaper entry ones or not.

Bro, even if backlane fail it also doesn't mean Cradleton fail.

I still hold the view that let's see the final product. It may or may not up to expectation (and also whose expectation). I would say that objective assessment by taking everything into consideration is needed. I don't buy a property solely because it has nice ass.

Ah I never expect every person must share the same thoughts. What I like doesn't mean people will like as well. What I don't like doesn't mean people will dislike too. Similarly, what I or you like or don't like about EM or Cradleton doesn't mean other will feel the same.

Can you then understand me?

If the question is: "if EM cannot do the ground foundation work good, how can I expect the house to have quality" - then I can see the connection as it means the house may sink, cracks, collapse etc. But why a backlane can or must fail the whole thing? So can't do a nice backlane means the house quality will be as crap, security will be low grade, the central park /garden inside the precint will be low quality one etc?
