Mine constantly getting 216ms. Is it good? Or is there anyway to improve it to be better?

216 is good. is green latency bar already. The only difference is there is some spike on raids which is absent on streamyx (those that i'm used to) despite getting ~400ms on average.

Guys,

I'm having an issue with my latency lately ( after patch 5.4.2) whereby the latency is unacceptable ( 1k-3k ms) and the lowest I can get is 600ms.

Is there any issue with the server or network connection, or it is because on festive+holiday season?

I'm using 5mb unifi atm. I have checked my PC, connection to internet and everything seems ok (restart modem, change IP to static, leatrix, and I did make sure no auto updates / firewall is enable from my end )

Did anyone is having this issue as well?

Hey there you are not alone, while I was playing WOW on Christmas 25th of December my ping was around 220-230ms. Unfortunately, starting on 27th of December my ping became 500-510ms. Besides WOW, I do play Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2, both games lagged as well. Diablo 3 normally the ping will be 200ms, but since 27th of December, it turns into 500ms which is unplayable at all. I'm not sure whether this is Blizzard's issue or TMnet's issue.

Hello there, I am also facing connection issue too.

What I get is 500ms (Home) / 500ms (World). And sometimes I got 1000ms - 3000ms (World) while raiding SoO. My other guildmate from different places in Malaysia get the same issue too.

my friend who use Maxis fibre said he don't have any issue with latency ( 200-/+) and seems it only affect the unifi users only.

Have called the technical support from unifi but they keep asking me the rubbish question which was not contribute to issue troubleshooting.

So last night I bought tunnel service and my latency now is 200+ ms. But hey, why I need to use this since I'm able to get this latency before?

is it just me or what.. since yesterday (31st), my latency went up double on Illidan, Stormrage, Frostmourne, Proudmoore and Tichondrius. Use to get 200 - 280 on all these servers but it's all doubled up on all servers today.

I'm on UNIFI and i don't use any tunnelling service.

I hope it's not just me.

Latency doubled starting from Christmas, I thought it's only some kind of festive traffic jam or something but till today I'm still having high latency.

It's downright impossible to play with this recent 500-1000ms latency since New Years eve. On Maxis it's also high at 330-350ms to me lar cos i normally get 200-250ms on Unifi before New Years Eve.

It's definitely Unifi routing problem already since we are not the only ones. A few people i know on North America servers playing SC2, D3, Dota 2 and LoL also reporting lag issues these few days.

Anyone lodge a complain to Unifi yet about this matter?

Yup still unplayable in a raid situation. Getting 1000ms-1600ms lat in both world and home. Couldn't raid yesterday or today and last week I was barely able. I figured I'd post here in case the Unifi people are paying any attention (haha right I know.)

I lodged a report 2 days ago for LA / Chicago based US realms (all back to normal already as i gave them the trace route paths and showed them the bad peering for rerouting).

The remaining ones; Phoenix & New York data centres you guys sendiri kao tim la. I don't want to be the only one lodging the complain or else they'll flag me for troublemaker smile.gif

Refer to http://www.wowwiki.com/US_realm_list_by_datacenter when you lodge if you are still affected by the > 500ms issue.

How do we traceroute? Using the command prompt shows nothing, heard it's blocked on streamyx

Hay guys, I'm just gonna add my piece here.

I've been getting pretty terrible lag (And it's March now) when playing on Frostmourne. I used to be getting 200ms when I first moved, but now it's just getting ridiculous, 800-6000MS, randomly spiking, chat working fine but everything else bugs out. Anyone else have the same problems here, or does everyone just use a tunneling service?
