i not sure ngflar tried that.

but for me, almost the same results, day or night (org or 25man raid), no lag no spike...

to gaeria84:

i played in thaurissan too...

your hop no3 that connected you to thaurissan via 60.49.55.237 MOST LIKELY is the route that causes you to frequently face problem.

60.49.55.237 appears to have at lease 1 peering point prior entering 10.55.192.0, just imagine a 3lane road from A to B or a 3lane road from A to B with many junction (traffic merge la)

second might be qos at tm side..

Slightly high latency with lag spikes for the past week.  ohmy.gif

EDIT: Just noticed something interesting...

12.129.254.208 = Thaurissan server IP. Routed through europe and eastern US to reach wow datacentres.  mad.gif

I'm rolling out new VPN service can I get some testers from wow? Please not myservice is fully routed with encryption unlike other providers that give no protection so it might not be as fast but if you still want to gatal to try and be my tester please let me know. Nothing to lose also. I just want to know the experience with full data encryption.

Current servers are in us and eu on 1Gbps port.

anyone have Latency problems since the last 2 - 3 days? I used to get 200-280ms on Lightbringer, Frostmourne & Illidan but since past 2 - 3 days it's 800 - 2000 ms ... 24/7 ... anyone else have this issue before i start raging with Streamyx on the phone?

p/s I'm not using any 3rd party software to reduce latency

I've tried a bunch of ISP that "claimed" they are the "fastest" and "stable" internet connection. Personally for me, if you want to play WoW on wireless network, i suggest Maxis 3G NOT the Maxis Broadband... and yes!! its cost more that your average broadband monthly charges. The rest (Celcom, Digi, or YES) didnt even come close to match its performance especially in BGs (Alterac Vally or Isle of Conquest)... I've tried almost all the networks offered in KL, except for U Mobile.

For wired connection, my FIRST choice will be Unifi (VIP 20). Im currently using it as my primary connection to WoW.

BTW im playing in US server (Central).

I no longer can use maxis 3G to play wow since Jan 2013. It stop responding when it shows "Success" message after you enter your password. Does anyone else experience this?

Hello Frostlord. I'm currently using Penangfon [Metrofon/Sentralfon] so far I had to adjust MTU settings on my router to play decently. latency is around 280-400+ a bit high but hardly noticeable considering I do Arenas. smile.gif
