There are bikes that suit your riding style, trails and budget. More importantly, "better" bikes makes the experience a lot nicer. If you're joining an XC race, you don't want to be riding a 14kg 160mm travel full sus bike. Likewise, if you want to bomb down Kiara often, surely you want more than a 120mm travel HT to enjoy the ride?

If you go pedalspot, it is usually 15% off the sticker price. Don't know how much is current price now though, but i was told a while back that it was 2k+ because of currency fluctuations for the stealth model.

that's about right. still more expensive than fox.
pedalspost BS je la. MYR drop, terus jacked the price of items in stock. macam la they bought those items in stock at future currency exchange rate.

i'm talking about those ibis frames on display and rockshox items. that time, it was the first quarter of 2016. when myr collapsed, suddenly price semua naik. but they told me, next rockshox shipment due end of the year. so, how come USD naik, items already in stock even before first quarter 2016 oso naik harga? ?????????

Lol. Sebab kompeni bapak dia sole distributor of sram. They can control the price now. Dulu when got two distributor with GH, always price war. No more now.

ive used 2 reverb previously, both were external cables, and both got same problem after 1 year, slow, not smooth and freeplay...even after service, rebleed, increase air pressure...I don't know bout d current gen of reverb though, the one with rockshox wording etched near the saddle mount...

fall line dropper post are sold by those guys from AGS mtb group...around 1.8k

keen on trying, but im gonna wait somebody to use it first, see how

that's why people opted for fox transfer, preferably from samy bikeshop..there can get 1.2k, cash+sweet talk sampai rosak gigi

im not into MTB, but bought one bike upgraded with alivio groupset, shimano hydraulic disc brake, new maxxis tyres and new hub last night for only rm500..kinda like an instant purchase really..even if i count the cost to change the fork and frame, it is still cheapo..and i still can change the groupset to the deores which i have lying around in my store without additional cost..so for me, i think i got a good bargain, considering that i may trash the bike later, and without losing too much money, if later i feel that MTB is not my thing..heck, i can even resell it at a higher price even if i sell it now..profitt!!heeeheee

My reverb also same same. Bought a stealth about 2 years ago. Not smooth and slides down a bit after a while. At least the good thing is that I could bring it back to pedalspot to get it serviced for free since still got warranty. Still ok for now.

good deal indeed, other shop also selling around 1.4k-1.6k for fox transfer..some more, the remote is more finger-friendly, much easier to reach...

reverb on the other hand, is still good actually, but those problem that came after the warranty ended

currently using giant dropper post, quite good and reliable too, but the its using air cartridge which is not self service friendly..

My buddy told me that Fook Sang is selling Fox Transfer for 1.2k (well he was being offered that price), seems like a few hundreds cheaper..

I'm using reverb atm, new to it, just wondering, is there any maintenance that has to take care of it? i.e. oil the rubber etc?

Fook sang Sg. Way they have cheaper range of products and generally sells at a cheaper price, but they dont have up to date/suitable equipments for servicing of bicycle.

Fox transfer kashima incl. remote 1.2k internal route is it?

tried the mondraker..didn't like it..feels like, leaning to much to d front...

i tot u oredi tried whyte? length almost the same as mondraker dune.

Whyte quite gooding. Feel stable pointing down. dune never tried yet though. Me rider type slow climber, even slower going down
