Hi, I've just sign up to try out as driver. GC sent me this SMS of the incentive chart... I have a look at it and it buzzle me a little. How do they actually makes money by giving those guarantees GC top up?

How the hell do GC make any money then? Looking at the chart of Penang, pretty much every hours also they have to top up. Almost double the fares??

Fare RM 5, they took rm1 commission. But incentives give you rm20. Mana that rm19 cam from? Or I understand it wrongly?

Mine in already. Got ~30% lower incentive than usual because grab only assign me mid and big trip only now. Fare also drop ~20% despite doing 11 more trip than previous week.

Any body feels that they're aren't assigned with Rm6 or lower trip anymore? I have a lot of rm10+ looking at last week history.

Also anybody noticed that grab calculate from the route that is the shortest route instead of the fastest route lately? This affect the fare amount to be lower but driver end up have to drive farther distance because most waze default is fastest route. I have a few trip yesterday that this happen, for example an RM 21 trip is actual 25 km travel in 38min travel time , but shortest route is 17km with 60 min travel time , this is from waze  . This is crazy considering a lot of opportunity lost or driver have to bear significantly higher operating cost, just because grab want to appear low cost to passenger all the time. If driver opt to the shortest route but longer time, means no incentive la? Tak guna grab ni jilake 

Just wonder ppl can make rm6k gross per month for grabcar. Appreciate if you can  provide total of driving hrs n details of trips without any monitoring by yrself if you get what i mean. I think for those opt for full time driving they have to really think thoroughly especially after the new grabcar incentive scheme is implemented. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Pls try bro, on android.As far as today waze still crashes, especially when nearly sampai time. Always popup "Unfortunately waze has stopped...blabla" .Google maps ok no issues. Maybe try off the power saving feature as suggested by lznce2679
Confirm its app, waze kena only, google ok. Before update all ok.
Sound issue no problem now though after uninstall and reinstall GC app.

I hope so, cause business is pretty bad for this weekend. I get more rides on weekdays now.

I'm afraid 20 bucks also cannot earn very soon, if ratings keep falling. Mine fell again after 2weeks of climbing back to 4.95. And quite unreasonably so.

Folks. Anyone facing prob with waze wont auto open for 2nd navigation onwards? Ie. Need to close waze app then only the grab app > waze navigation function works.

Separately, on digi for 2 days. Notices 90% of the time got yellow bar saying 'you are currently connected to a slow network'. This prob despite 4g and not H+(like most time when using Umobile).

Info sharing would be appreciated. Fyi android phone, battery saver off for all apps.

Im suspecting grab driver prob. Have updated latest yesterday- better than prev version when pick up or drop off will dc (happening to both digi and umobile)

Today did so many 4 trips within 1 hour.. syok... Haha..

U can't do that, customer don't like company treating them with double standard

Nowadays with Grab marketing, a lot of Mat Salleh expatriate is using grab

Check your weekly statement email.
Gross or nett calculation:
Compare fare vs incentive.
If the ratio is 50-50. You are okay.
If 40-60 or below. You are smart and lucky.

If is the other way round then you already enter ajaran sesat like WhiteWing.
