as Grab drivers, do you know the passenger destination before accepting any ride? also can select the passenger/destination u like?

YES. we can accept / declined. but rating will drop.

that's based on my exp as uber rider, asked the driver and he said, have to accept any ride without knowing the destination.

Uber > pick up and know.
Grab > pick up and destination is show before u accept the job.

i'm currently GrabHitch driver for the past 7 months but only got 3 hitchers till now, as it's difficult to find passenger going to the same route as me,
GrabHitch also still new and not as common as normal Grab, so i thought wanna try Grab just to find if can get any passenger going same direction

After further research, I can conclude that those receiving SMS confirmation for the ambassador program choose DID NOT DRIVE FOR UBER.
Those chosen drove for Uber before all still pending didn't know whether is in or out of this ambassador program yet.

Im having problem of when customer cancelled the trip while I using waze, no notification came up, then grabcar go online with job come in with notification but when I switch back to grabcar apps, I see no job. After 15 seconds, it said I dint accept the job. Anyone using iphone having this problem? My weekly incentive burn because of this.

So old version is more user friendly? Can snap a shot for me to see how is it like?

old version is not only more friendly...but more stable, the new version when you play your phone on the other screen, when ping request come in it will automatically dropped in other words when doing Grab you only focus on 1 Grab app only if any whatsapp or sms comes in and u read it      this will affect your acceptance rate

old version when ping request comes in it will bring the Grab app up to the top screen and prompt you whether to accept or not

IOS is like this. must be very sure of rider cancelling. because you must quickly press okay. if not next ping request enter you cannot even see the request but can hear the ping and vibration. only way is to exit the apps and log back in. you will lose acceptance rate there. yup is normal for IOS.

Mine GC app now cannot directly show direction to destination after click navigate using Waze.

Anyone facing same problem?
Upgraded to latest version, same issue.
