This is Roasted Glutinouse Rice. This cuisine is famous in Kelantan and now the popularity has gone to everywhere.

The Glutinouse Rice is normally a little bit sweet and fragrance. The softness of the rice will make you indulge so much.

Welcome back lengzhai.

Damn, I like this stuff. Got both chewiness and crispiness to it, it just mixed both together well.

So its just a plain pulut with no fillings?
seems kinda lame when there's so many types of interesting pulut out there.
Personally, I feel kueh melayu is made better by the johorians and those in klang valley. Kelantan ones are either too sweet, too flat (taste) or too weird (like currypuff filled with green beans).

pulut panggang is usually linked with pulut in round tube (digulung). This is Pulut Bakar.

If the shape in picture is Pulut Bakar. But the meaning is the same panggang with bakar.

If a trader has both round tube shape and round big shape then the pulut bakar is in the picture.

Maybe. May differ from seller to seller.

So far, I've never had one without fillings.

Can be pulut panggang. also pulut bakar. but in kelantan better mention it pulut bakar for the shape like in the picture. because this pulut is lemak manis type and normally with clove fragrance. (bunga cengkih)

This one no filling. Thus different name.

The cylinder shape one has filling. Normally fish serunding (spicy fish flakes).
Kelantan pulut panggang rarely use coconut shred as filling, as in northern states.

Kelantan pulut panggang >>>> other pulut panggang. flex.gif

Bukan benda sama bakar dan panggang? Pulut panggang pantai timur is the best because the stuffing is fish whereas in KL it's coconut, very distasteful.
