As far as I know, nope. BUT, if you intend to recover your monies, you'd pursue a civil action, not criminal action. For these type of cases, both actions are applicable. Hence why it applies if you're going for civil suits to recover your monies. I stand to be corrected.

I've done police reports before. For other civil matters. It only depends on your determination and Perseverance. Sorry to say that. Yea, like some have said, it may be futile, but at least you're doing something to 'back up' your claim. Not just leaving it there to rot

if police cross check in their system show only 1 or 2 police report NOT 7 or 8 or 9 police report.
most probably it NO need immediate attention.

Logically police reports should be the first thing to do (Which with msian police i doubt it works anyway).

All victims should make reports (For the sake of a useless paper), and all go in one group to MCA for press. The law in malaysia, Viral = Sleeping white knights take action.
Someone from the 12 victims should man up, take the LEADERSHIP and round all together instead of wait and see tidak apa typical malaysian attitude.
