Reit is not as same as ordinary stock. as name implied, Real Estate Investment Trust.

Its upside potential is always about its yield.

It's hard fly high in first day listing?

BAGI YANG BERTANYA TENTANG STATUS SYARIAH KIP REIT

Menurut "Guidelines on Real Estate Investment Trusts" dan "Guidelines on Islamic Real Estate Investment Trusts" (Guidelines) oleh Securities Commission, syarikat yang menguruskan Islamic REIT perlu melantik penasihat syariah bagi fund tersebut.

Penasihat Syariah perlu membuat penilaian ke atas aset-aset yang akan diperoleh oleh Islamic REIT yang mana secara umumnya, penyewa aset-aset ini perlu menjalankan aktiviti perniagaan yang patuh Syariah. Walau bagaimanapun, sekiranya berlaku percampuran aktiviti perniagaan antara perniagaan patuh dan tidak patuh Syariah, hasil sewaan aktiviti peniagaan tidak patuh Syariah mestilah tidak melebihi 20% daripada jumlah pendapatan (revenue) Islamic REIT.

Selain itu, pelaburan yang dibuat, deposit, pembiayaan perbankan dan insurans yang digunakan mestilah patuh Syariah.

Berdasarkan maklumat daripada prospectus KIP REIT (KIP), kami tidak menemui senarai Penasihat Syariah atau Jawatankuasa Syariah bagi KIP. Manakala, deposit, pembiayaan perbankan dan insurans bagi KIP adalah produk konvensional. Jadi, KIP REIT tidak menepati ciri-ciri Islamic REIT sepertimana yang dinyatakan dalam dua 'Guidelines' di atas.

Or if listing day fly high can partially sell & balance keep for dividend.."

If it really do fly high during listing, that is a bonus, but most REIT investor would be attracted by their long term yield.

i applied large portion for this ipo after considering many previous reit ipo bring good profit to investors..their business is real and have large asset to support their operations..if not mistaken pavilion reit registered 30% profit upon listed
