That is the most bullshit thing ive ever heard mate. For the past few seasons we have seriously been linked(with quote) with players like griezmann,payet,mktaryan,willian,costa,sanchez,,salah,alli,konoplyanka,teixera. Most of them are all good players and some are the stars rite now. This 0 ambition club thought they are expensive to obtain and opt to cheaper option.

This is money problem in the end. Others are just scapegoat

anyway this probably is evident that the TC is still well and truly alive, and that klopp doesn't have much say anymore in transfers.

Yet Sevilla are always capable of unearthing gems for a quarter of the price of the players you just listed. If they are unwilling to spend the big bucks, they must have good enough scouting network to back it up by targeting the gems no one else are targeting. Our transfer policy has always been targeting up and coming players instead of ready made ones, that bit is clear, but we aren't capable of pulling it off consistently. We don't necessarily need to spend big to get quality, it's about looking for them in the right places.

Example: How did Soton sign Van Dijk for £13m or Mane for £12m? How did Juventus sign Vidal for €10m? How did Dortmund sign Dembele for €15m? How did Bayern sign Sule for €20m?

Besides, of the players you listed how many of those rejected us outright instead of us being the ones unwilling to pay for them? Mkhitaryan, Sanchez, Willian, Costa, Salah all opted for other clubs. Payet and Griezmann we were never in for. Teixeira was deemed too pricey yes but look at where he now? I say we dodged a bullet on that. Konoplyanka wasn't our fault at all, the deal was done, only for their owner to renege on the deal last minute because he doesn't want to sell all of a sudden. Missing out on Alli was all on us though but I don't think that was even the matter of money. We just didn't follow up our interest after initial contact for some reason.

busy schedule and lack of depth and klopp's tricks being counter and injuries have been caught up with us. Klopps need to think of something else we will ended up losing top 4
