Anyone know what to do of application rejected by Maybank? Already have three cards with Maybank.

My statement date is 24th of the month. Cashback is calculated based on calendar month. And cashback will be issued on the 15th of the month.

So if I spend now, my cashback will only be issued on 15 Feb 2023, and my statement will come out on 24 right?

I received my cashback on 8 Jan.

But weirdly, I didn't get the full rm50 cashback hmm

Nah maybe it's just a glitch. New card will have some hiccups

I already raised a dispute to them.

Remove your cc one by one until you are able to save the card during payment.

Amex is a bit wonky, but once it’s saved you can readd other cards

Don't think the bank will entertain you.

If they have to manually adjust customer's request one by one, they will be wasting a lot of time.

Better to just stick to the original repayment or just pay it off in full.

Cashback is based on calendar, so only your transaction in October is getting it.

I spent RM625 for Dec 2023, but only received RM37 cashback. Will call the CS to clarify later.

I'm suspecting that my SpayLater did not get CB as well.

Initially I thought it was because I replaced my card mid-way.

I complained to them and the remaining was credited, however it was still short of my expectation.

Only received RM25 out of the full RM50 CB.

Will dissect my transaction and show my findings here.


Edit: Called Maybank and confirmed that they shortchanged me.
