I face the same situation as you.
My Ikhwan card usage is only heavy if I go back to hometown during long holiday weekends.
At least you can still top up TnG at JG. I don't have much opportunity for this.
So, I decided to cancel the card!

if your earned TP from m2c amex is consistently good, perhaps can redeem for ikhwan mc's sst instead.

unless you have too many mbb cards, even accumulated TP also not enough to cover

BT RM2000 0% 12 months will earn more than RM25.

That's why I don't like to BT especially several concurrently running BTs.

I'm having the same dilemma. But at the end still cancel. feel sayang... 

Cos my usage very minimum, if my CB just about RM30 then not worth to keep.

Among MBB card, I choose to keep Amex 2card, and FCB. That also RM75 already... 

To top up TnG at JG is at the cashier simply? Wow this is good, no processing fee whatsoever like, right that one in Nu sentral?

So now i can save some quota from AMEX and use Ikhwan for TnG instead. All JG offer such service??

I have redeemed all TP to shopping vouchers before the devaluation.

I just received maybank Ikhwan Petronas card, may I know the cash rebate is based on statement or month end?

O.No wonder. Mean my last month cash rebate will reflect in this month statement?

Retention team called and asked why cancel this AF free wonderful card.
But didn't offer anything to retain.

Still cancel due to other card better features.

They don't lack of customers bah. My citibank card get rm100 cash back after I decide to cancel it before anniversary month.

Dear Valued Cardmembers,

Please be informed that an annual Service Tax of RM25 will be imposed on all Credit and Charge Cards effective 1 September 2018. This is in accordance with the Service Tax Act 2018.

Cardmembers may opt to pay the Service Tax using Maybank Points. Service Tax redemption can be made once it has been reflected in Cardmembers card statement.

Cardmembers may redeem through these channels:

- Complete the TreatsPoints redemption form / Membership Rewards redemption form and email it to maybankrewards@maybank.com.my
- Walk-in to any Maybank Card centres or branches.
- Call us at Maybank Group Customer Care as per telephone number at the back of your card.
