previously their faq put Feb and Mar 2025, then they changed it to Mar and Apr 2025
maybe during this changes they just took out Feb but forgot to add in Apr

Dear Maybank

My Maybank Islamic Ikhwan American Express Platinum Card-i ending xxx only received RM50 cashback credited on 7 May 2025 for April 2025 transactions. This violates your T&C that the cashback for March and April 2025 is RM100. I trust you have all my records. Please credit the correct cash back within 5 working days.

I received a call from Maybank just now, said that they already rectified the issue and the missing cashback will be credited into the account around 21/05/2025.

Contacted Maybank about the cashback shortfall.
The CS said they would lodge a report.
didn’t ask about the settlement date, as I believe should give them some time to resolve the issue.

By the way, Maybank might discontinue the special RM100 cashback (offered twice a year) if customers keep complaining, since they have a big customer pool and dont mind to have lesser.
everyone could end up losing this benefit.

I have question, for the Maybank Islamic Ikhwan Mastercard Platinum Card-i, the petrol cashback is for any petrol brand? Coz in the TnC exclusion list, it mentioned this: Spend on Government Bodies, utilities, e-wallets reloads and other petrol brand other than Petronas.

And is it based on payment at the pump? How about payment at counter? (for non fuel purchase ie purchase at Shell Select shop)

Alamak looks like Ikhwan amex cannot earn anymore under spaylater..... The normal 5% Amex still can ?

In my case it’s not counting transactions from 20 July onwards for the CB calculation

What would be the date for the CB to be credited? 1st of the month or follow Ikhwan Amex?

Good tips. Have to monitor the description at the approval page for the time being.
