10 years later today earning 10k
So stop complaining n just earn your way up

Don't complain too much on first job pay
Look for a company that can train you well
Consider that as training allowance
After getting enough experience then only look for the salary u want

I met lot of gen y who like to rush things out
During my probationary period I rode my bike
For 6 months before I earn enough and bought
my own first car a myvi (which I still keep today)
For 4 years I share a rented apartment with 4 friends
Hence shared those utilities n streamyx fees
We can survive without much income as student
Sure we can survive now with fix income
Again saving enough, we split ways to buy our own houses
Things are tough for 5-6 years but as my position n income grows, it is now easy for me eventually

I jump ship
N move to manager post

Oil n gas now

Has to be realistic lo...
Good time is underpaid
No bad time lucky got a job lo

21k in 2nd year?
Is he working off shore?
Of earning in foreign currencies?

I don't believe working in local bank 2nd year can get 21k lo....unbelievable

120k was 1996 price la
Not that cheap la 2006 around 250k+
Now about 500k min
But food in 2006 is already same expensive since then
Others more or less the same

I bought my 2006 myvi around 45k only
Phone back then 1k+ lousy function also
Internet crawls but as expensive
Calls are charged by minutes...
