I'm thinking of radiator shroud, besides eliminating the deadspot of the cooling fan on the radiator, what else it does? Anything to do with static pressure? noise level?

before i made the decision to do 480 sli,
i have study the review,ask all the OC's taiko in lyn
and totally survey the power requirement.
Then few weeks later i hear that got ppl at xs/evga forum
face some prob whit HX1000 & 480 sli
but i sudah terbeli so cant do anythg about that..

but i thing if u not OCing your system to Extreme,it will not be a prob..
hope HX1000 whit mild oc 480 sli will no harm to the psu..
coz owikh using the same psu and 480 sli..still not hear any bad news from him.

better to prevent than cure bro .

y dont u dont OC it 1st cause 480 SLI scaling is considered very nice already .

they provide optional thermal sensor right ?
exactly above the VRM heatsink there's a slot for it .
hook up the thermal sensor and put the tip of the sensor on the base of the heatsink or under the heatsink .
either way u'll get d rough idea of ur true temperature .
i put them at the base so i guess it should be roughly xtra 10C .
just giving me more headroom for safe OC ^^,
