The no vibration is a new feature on 8.2.
How's the ROM? I'm on 8.1.2 still deciding whether to update or not.

Battery normal? I got OTA notification for past few weeks I think. Initially, the update was 1.5GB. Recent week, only 6++MB. Is that normal?

Not many differences in term of specs. Both same chipset.

My phone just water-damaged and LCD not working(fortunately only that). How much does it cost to fix it? Anyone?

reboot as in restart? I rarely use the physical lock/on-off button after enabling Quick Ball(similar to ios Touch Assistant).
You can enable it at Setting>Additional Setting>Shortcut Menu>Quick Ball.

"Quick Ball in simple words is a tough assistant with combination of five unique shortcut (helps to do quick functions and tasks easily) that user can customize also."
One of the shortcuts offered is "power button" or "power". You'll get what I mean. Play with the setting. I have Lock, Screenshot, Back, Recent App and Power shortcut on mine. Very convenient.

Btw, if the phone is off then, how do you turn it on?

Yep. Power offers 4 option iinm. Shut Down and Restart are two of them. Forgot to include that before.

And btw, do check out this interesting thread I found. Might be a good way to determine whether your physical button is having hardware or software problem.

Guys, any good deal on Redmi 4 Prime(grey)? A visit to hot spring and now my phone kaput already.
Or is there any comparable phone to this at similar price range? Love the size.

Nahhh. Rather had Redmi Note 4 instead. Just a little bit topup. Redmi 4 Prime to Redmi 4X is a downgrade. Only the screen size is the thing that I look forward to. Other than that, 4 Note by a country mile.

Smaller than Prime? Glad to know that! I might go for it now before migrating to Redmi 5 later(sounds promising so far). Sacrificing FHD resolution but I just prefer compact size phone. I believe the camera is a bit better(0.2 bigger aperture) than the Prime. And most importantly, software updates. The Prime seems in the lowest in pecking order of Redmi 4 variants in term software support.

Seller stated that it's official Xiaomi Malaysia warranty in the comment section. Means you can send it to any Xiaomi service centres in Malaysia for warranty(at least that's what I understand about official local warranty is).

Global or China?

Any known issues? Btw I just get my Redmi 4 Prime fixed at a shop in Subang, called Fast Technology. You can try asking them. Seems reliable too me. You'll find it right away in Google Maps.
