Big win for AMD in terms of value and price per dollar performance i'm sure. Finally some competition this time around. Can't beat RT and DLSS yet, but they are close.

Even so I think everyone should get an AMD card this gen. Upgrading is low cost compared to upgrading to an Nvidia gpu haha. No need new casing, no need new atx 3.0 psu, great pricing.

If can go with nitro+ series, the cooler is beefy, rooms temperature 30c , GPU temp 36c 783 RPM at idle, hard to reach over 75c during gaming session, if fps limited 70-80 barely reach 60c under air conditioner 24c

If you go with 6750 need 2x 8pin , even official also fail to represent still saying 1x8pin 1x6 pin...

Nope. 6700/6750xt is just bad idea. 6800 is huge performance jump. But hopefully drop to rm2k

If price is sweet, my budget is 3.3k. Might consider nvidia too

Did anyone able to estimate the price of 7900xtx and 7900xt once it arrived? I expect it will increase more than MSRP just like the price of 4080 and 4090.

7900XTX not only faster, but much cheaper.

That's not attractive pricing enough. Those are reference models. Based on the XTX OVERALL performance , that's not very convincing compared to 4080 and all of its feature set. Btw can be had closer to 6k now. Morale of the story, do not believe in AMD promotional hype.

It's "good" in relative to 4080 only. Both are overpriced as it is

But the power consumption and thermal is slightly worst than 4080..not sure if long run will cost more than the 200 USD

They also have coil whine issue according to Gamer Nexus. Not sure if third party supplier can remedy these issues

Amd knew they cannot compete in performance that's why they came up with the much lower msrp as nvidia released their 4000 series way earlier.

Sadly for most of us, 7900XTX is not competitive enough to trigger nvidia to drop prices

But then 7900 XTX has higher power consumption..about 100W for gaming. Not sure how much that translates to our electric bill in Malaysia. If you are concern on the electric bill on a long term..maybe that makes a difference?
