Anybody got Nokia 6300. I just bought one but when I talk on the phone, hardly 3 minutes, the handset becomes hot?

Is this normal?

Yes. This phone gets hot easily when you're running tasks that requires a lot of battery like calling, playing games, listening to music, etc.. I also feel that the earpiece part gets hot easily when calling, thus making the ears feel uncomfortable. But I guess this is a small matter since I really like this phone.

but according to all the post in gsmarena, some people don't get any heat at all!

Many say some batches are like that. Did I get a bad batch?

I just got my phone from Vodaphone, Australia, and it is locked to the network. Just wondering if anyone knows if I can unlock the phone with any codes or I have to bring it into a store. And how much will it usually cost me to do so?

I saw that the phone is not easy to obtain codes though.

needs to be reflashed with a generic firmware ... go to a phone shop or some forumers do it too ...

just got the phone a few hours ago, this phone is piece of shit.. it cant install program larger than the phone memory. It cannot install to the memory card... stupid nokia noob

when installing time got option save to phone or card memory right?

dont have zzzz... when i click install... it just say, not enough phone memory....zzz i cant choose "install to memory card"

I dunno that but i saved a lot of things from my pc to memory card via card reader.

ps Still loves this phone.
