After changing motherboard, problem still persists so I checked with the seller. He was kind enough to take the phone back and went to check wit the telco. Apparently, Celcom also does IMEI blocking. The phone was out of contract yet they made a blunder and blocked it. So be careful. |

How to fix this problem?? I have the same exact problem, but the seller has a different maxis plan and my phone is an iphone.. how to fix the issue ?

bought a sealed set from mudah.my
i called all telco, they said they didnt block the sim1 slot IMEI.
so what happened? this is last year issue. im still using the phone anyway since i have 2 slots

One question guys!
Maybe not related but i buy iphone 12 pro under normal contract and decided give my mom to use it without activated using my sim card.
As for now the phone was been stolen and since I'm not a iPhone using so i didn't do any much settings especially on the apple id.
Can we ask service providers to block imei although i never activated the phone using my own sim card?
