No prob. I think bad sales for the new MBP with all kinds of complaints and bad reviews. Should not take long time to get the stock

You might be surprised but apparently the stocks are flying off the shelves

And for those who needs dongles, the good news is, there's probably going to be a price revision smile.gif

But actually, what's there to demo? If you like it, you'll spend the $$ getting it is it? If you're not going to like it, you're just going to pass?

if you buying for working purpose then its ok.

but i buy it just for entertainment purpose, since the price is quite high, if i dont find the touchbar is useful/ attractive enough in real life, i will just buy a 2-3k window lappy first and wait for next release of mbpr.

frankly this mbpr price is kinda disappointed me, was aiming around 7k-8k. sweat.gif

Are U looking at the 15" - the only way for it to drop back down to 7-8k is when our RM appreciates. Well, I do think the new bar is going to be a standard feature on all the upcoming Macs. The bad thing about buying it now is that you'll kinda be the first group of people using it (beta users) so the 2nd or 3rd generation ones will prob be better thought of...

nope, 13" with 512gb and 16gb ram.
agreed on the new bar gonna be standard feature, i foresee that the next generation's touchbar gonna be bigger and have haptic feedback.

all reviews on internet is using base model without touchbar so there's no real life reviews on it. sweat.gif so i just at least wait for dec to demo it first before spending money on it.

another buying factor for me is i can claim 3k computer tax relief for this year, so i die die need to buy a lappy before this year ends.

You are buying a computer just because you can claim tax relief? Err oK... smile.gif

Stick with 13", 512GB - no need to update RAM; still within RM8k+

I always demo/watch youtube review before making purchase, if I didn't like it then most probably will skip to next gen mbp.

I have no issue with the ports. But it looks like Apple doesn't provide the extension cord along with the package? I don't think it will fit with our electricity. Sure it will have that static thing without it...

eyeing for lappy quite few years already, so ngam next year no more 3k computer tax relief so better buy one within this year lo.

i can afford it just that feeling not worth since we need to allocate around extra 1k to buy applecare + adapter dock separately. biggrin.gif
